I was surprised they confirmed Jack as dead so soon. I didnt think they'd get the elevator open and get his body. I thoughtit would be trapped under the rubble with some random unidentified body assumed to be him

I haven't watched yet but does it seem like he could come back? How many people have died this year on DAYS.

well they didnt show it but Roman said they were able to get the elevator and said he died instantly. I guess when Jack comes back, they can say the paramedics that got to him lied.

Yeah, Abigail and Jennifer actually talked about how they will tell JJ. I'm sure he will be "unable to get a flight" or "in the kitchen" for the funeral...

I audibly screamed at the end of today's episode. I don't read very many spoilers, so I had no idea that Ian was going to blurt out his confession in today's episode. The scenes with Lauren Koslow and Ian Buchanan were riveting, extremely well-written and wonderfully acted. My favorite scenes on the show since the Jack/Marlena therapy scenes and some Will/Marlena stuff.

Tomorrow's stuff is on youtube in an edited episode

Ian Buchanan especially is excellent, as is Lauren Koslow. But Ian B gets the better material.

Kate Mansi has been phenomenal during the disaster. Very impressed.

I will always love Brady and Melanie and their friendship.

Great scenes with Ian and Kate! But I wish the background music was better, it would have made the scenes more intense.

Today's episode was fantastic all around. I teared up at every single Jack mention, from Julie finding out, to Kayla, then Bo at the end. And there was a Cruise of Deception reference!

Ian and Kate were amaaaaze today too, though I love that his Shakespearean histrionics got referenced with him shouting "Out damned spot, out!" to Kate and flinging her across the bed calling her "lady" every five minutes. This has been a really fun week, excited for Tomlin & Whitesell's stuff to take place. I at least feel forward momentum as opposed to when Marlene & Darrell came on and the show felt "fresh" but there was absolutely nothing happening.

She meant Jo Johnson -- Jack, Steve and Adrienne's mother. She's been mentioned over the years as still living in Salem. I believe we saw her last onscreen when Steve was found alive and Jack brought him back to town.

Yesterday's episode was a breath of fresh air because it didn't have Sami and her rapist on. I wish they'd kill him.

LOVED the Kate/Ian scenes today.

But LOL at Jennifer calmly telling everyone that Jack died. She even said it to Adrienne like "yes, I did come with Jack, but now he's gone." Chick, your husband just fell down an elevator shaft! START FREAKING OUT!
