Who? <_<

Sorry, but ever since I saw Terri Colombino on the now-defunct Soap Center on SoapNet actually crying to (special contributor) Mimi Torchin because she doesn't know what it's like to have a difficult life the way other people have, I've had absolutely no use for this broad.

Congrats, Terri! Raise your kid to be absolutely oblivious to the fact that people actually experience struggle in life.

You should have read the interview where her agent complained about her having to audition for roles.

Of course I've known who AP is for years as a soap fan even if I never watched DOOL or ATWT, but I must say that I oddly enjoyed his skeeve porn director character on a show I did watch, OLTL. I think he's probably a bit of a neurotic kook IRL who just made the most of his genetic lottery winnings in previous roles and the OLTL part was his chance to really have some fun.

Oh dear lawrd....they are going to have a spawn...lovechild....from their stinky alledge affair...ugh....

ROTFLMAO....honey, y'know I've got no use for either of those hammy-pretty, preening abs-hibionists, but even I know that child needs all the luck we can wish her.

I will even give the Peck-sters credit...they've lasted longer than I ever thought possible. *whispers* although this reeks of a desperate-let's-have-a-baby-to-fix-our-relationship move. At least if we were on a soap. So, yeah....I'm gonna start a pool; will the Peck-sters are still together at her 1st birthday. 'Cause I can. *evil laugh*

He mostly played a goof on ATWT and was popular for that.

The most interesting part of Peck's story is the one where he became born again while on DAYS and basically alienated everyone for a few years in his need to show them the way, etc. I guess that ended sometime before his marriage...

When ATWT left the air, the character of Katie Peretti Frasier Coleman Kasnoff Snyder Snyder Hughes was on her sixth marriage. Had the show continued, she would surely have beaten some of the great nuptialers of daytime....surely Lisa, possibly Erica Kane. Although some people couldn't STAND Katie, she was popular for two reasons... Terri's undeniable romantic chemistry with Paul Leyden's Simon and her comedic timing with long-time foil Henry Coleman, expertly played by Trent Dawson.

That being said, the adulterous duo of Colombino and Peck turned me off from the start. From what I understand, it deeply divided the ATWT cast as well, most of whom really liked Terri's wronged husband.

"the adulterous duo"?

Could you be more pearl-clutching?

The fact is, Terri's marriage was failing before she ever met Austin for reasons I cannot legally say -- and this is the only thing I have inside info on alol. And even if it weren't, it's none of our business. And even then, "adulterous duo" makes you sound like a dinosaur jsyk.

    • Thank you so much! Do you by chance have the missing 2000 and 2001 episodes in German. Ive been thinking about that since we are watching in such fast pace. I would be so grateful if you could add them when you have time. You have been one of the super heros of this community.
    • It looks like John Hess was headwriter until July, 1969 after having the role since March, 1967.  I believe Barbara Roddell also assumed the role of Jill Stevens in June or July of the same year almost immediately after departing "Another World."
    • Awww...they been holding strong this week so I'm sorry to hear that.   Omg! Sprina is Sprina. And Vanna...lol...I still cannot believe how well that turned out given the year before I was a strong person against that pairing. But they redeemed Val so well that it made sense a year later.
    • I think it is perfectly usual for any soap fan of any age to have any characters or couples they like as part of their fandom. And, it is certainly acceptable to be interested in Doug & Julie and Challie and any age in between. Me & DOOL I am high on Doug & Julie, Challie, Steve & Kayla, John & Marlena, Cady McClain as Jennifer Rose, Abe & Paulina, Chad, even more. Of course, I think it is particularly usual & definitely acceptable for a lesbian to be into Challie, regardless of age! I would never think of chastising someone for who they were fans of. That's as bad as calling names. Who set you up as judge & jury of who someone can be fans of? I must've missed that memo. Topically speaking I'm a fan of about 90% of Salem & not a fan of about 4 characters.
    • Wow, Alycia Parks wins her first title in Lyon, taking out the hometown favorite Caroline Garcia.
