I wonder sometimes when posters say this person aint a good Producer/writer if they know exactly what goes into making the show. It may not be perfect but Frank & Ron really love the genre and that is evident from cast and production staff over the years.

I really have no comment on this either lol I have to admit GH looked/was written better under JFP and Guza. I still love what "Cartini" did at OLTL (most of it) but they just don't fit at this sho.

Okay, two thoughts.

1. CNN did something on GH - that's great. Publicity is always a wonderful thing.

2. Focus on how long Finola Hughs has been there with Jane Elliot and Tony Geary in the background? Seriously? They've put in almost 3 1/2 decades!

This is such an elitist viewpoint, as if to imply people are only being critical about the production/writing because they're uninformed. The two things have nothing to do with each other. You don't have to know the details of making the product to develop an opinion about the end result.

Yes but IMHO its so much better than where it was & i feel that trend continuing.

Cast and production? Being below budget does not equate cheap and cheesy. GH is the worst it's ever been and it looks god awful!

It works best iMHO when the EP & HW share a vision & go towards that. It is not their job to cater to fanbases. Actually I believe doing that very thing hindered daytime over the years. If they stick to the vision & write accordingly, you will have a good show. Will everyone like it all the time? Of course not, however we are still on boards, twitter etc discussing GH. Thats what matters. Its when fans stop caring & talking, that is the problem. When the viewer becomes apaethetic.

I hope yopu are joking there. Just because your not into GH, that is no reason to cancel it. I mean I really dont want 400 more cast & crew to lose their jobs, pensions, Health benefits do you. Think about that next time when you go praying for Cancelation
