The fact of the matter is that the GH thread was always a fun place until the OLTL characters, and the viewers who came with them, started making it a chore to open the thread.

Actually makes me miss the constant rehashing of Summer of '06.

As I've said, there are no OLTL characters on this show, as they have been GH characters for the past few months. Furthermore, the only ones that are "making it a chore" are the ones who feel the need to attack because they can't deal with feeling threatened by a string of keystrokes.

Just as certain viewers choose not to care about what they post to other viewers, said other viewers shouldn't be expected to offer that courtesy to them because they are 'new'.

I have no problem with new posters. I have a problem with new posters that continuously rehash the same argument over and over again knowing that no one is going to agree and that it will cause pages and pages of drama.

And that's not just directed at you.

My thing is, I'm not enjoying the show day in and day out. The only post I left in last month's thread was about Kristina and what she actually did on the show. People come in here and twist it into how Robin Strasser got fired in the 90's, why Tea ruined Todd/Blair, Lucy Coe, etc. It is crazy.

It is people who never discuss the show at all and just say get these OLTL people off the screen when they're barely on. I'm going to stop too. I just said something that other day bc it is ridiculous to say GH is OLTL 2.0 OR Gh Is losing its identity. When Viki, Dorian, Bo, Clint, Nora, Matthew, Roxy, Rex and Gigi blow into town maybe that could be a valid argument.

No, I think this has been a build up since the days of Wolfe. The signs were in place then. The discontent with the show has just reached it's maximum output in the last couple of months and some of that comes from the discontent with OLTL characters from purists and just discontent with the fact that GH is a complete husk of what is used to be. The show's been dying a slow cancerous death for years now, and now posters are starting to realize that because they are seeing the emaciated corpus for what it is without the gloss and make-up. It's always been there but it was just hidden better.

I would love it if Viki showed up. Erika Slezak can act, so she probably won't be imported. They are only using GH's mature actresses to prop Luke; I don't know where they would put her.

Kelly Monaco killed it today. Hate what they are doing with Sam but felt she nailed the scene. I thought they cut the scene way too short though. It should have went on longer
