Having JJ in boarding school is such a slap in the face to history considering Jennifer hated the fact that she was sent to boarding school as a child.

So did Jack. They could have easily side-stepped that issue by saying that JJ elected to go to boarding school himself for whatever reason. One little line is all the difference it takes not to desecrate on charcters.

This teen scene is a joke. Chad as a DiMera is just ridiculous - him screaming at Will was just comedy. If these teens are the last "hope" of Days then this show is without a chance.

I will this say much: LR doesn't come across as one of those self-important divas who gets pissed whenever anyone gives her a sideways glance. She appears to be as much in on the jokes as we are.

That's exactly why I really like Lisa Rinna. She's in on the joke in a big way. She's ballsy. Never turns down a job. Just rolls with the punches. She is a dream PR machine, why DAYS doesn't tap into that is beyond me.

I turned on the show today and in the first segment all I saw was a continuation of Victor/Maggie from Friday, Brady/Madison/Ian and Abby with Cameron. Looked boring to me so I went and shut that off. Im not even gonna bother

bc Days this past May sweeps and now in June has been so boring, here is a promo for the show 2 years ago. Seemed alot more interesting!

Higley's Days was better than this current crap

IMO Higley wasn't all that bad.

Last year was way worse than what's airing now. There was EJ/Taylor's true love with constant flashbacks of the scarf-pier-scene and EJ giving up his shady ways for Taylor; the beginning of Dan/Jen pairing; Chloe becoming a prostitute and we actually saw scenes with her and her clients; Carly all drugged up. I'll take this year's boringness over last year's crap.

Leann Hunley and Arleen Sorkin were so bad in those scenes. Some of the worst acting I've ever seen. And they spent like five episodes in that very small set with some weird curtains

IMO Higley wasn't all that bad.

Actually she was. MarDar is just as bad as well. And I'm sure Tomlin & Whitesell will be as well.

My god. The two of them acting out some community theatre play in front of a beach towel for a week and a half.

I maintain that Higley 2.0 (which was really Tomlin/Whitesell/Higley) was very enjoyable from 2009 - mid/late 2010. But it became a disaster at the start of 2011, when Parker's paternity came out and Taylor arrived. Very little about this reboot/MarDar era has seemed as bleak or awful as spring and summer 2011 felt, but they've never come close to being as good as 2009-2010, either.

MarDar have been committed the worst offence of all: they've been boring.
