Kelley is still formidable.

Usually recurring stuff like this is often a precursor to a regular role, so I hope it works out for her. And say what we will about Dick Wolf but he always employs NY soap people (Alana de la Garza is on there as well, I believe).

Dick Wolf has, at one point or another, employed both soap and theater folks in the greater New York area. LOL!

I even recall, and this is WAY back, the late Benjamin Hendrickson getting a guest turn as a defense attorney on original recipe Law & Order, around 1991-ish. (Ironically, it was the same episode that first featured Jerry Orbach - a season before he would become a regular as Det. Lennie Briscoe (Season 3).)

In the episode with Hendrickson, he played another defense attorney named Frank Lehrman. It was funny/weird to see him on the lawyer side of the show! (The episode was "Wages of Love" from Season 2, the show's answer to the Betty Broderick case, which occurred in 1989.)

As you point out, there are many more.

Fyi, FBI International is a Dick Wolf show that's primarily filmed in Hungary.  The premise of the series is that it's an FBI team based in Budapest that works with a Europol liaison to solve crimes all over Europe, if the cases involve American citizens. Each episode begins at the Budapest office and then the team receives a case and travels there to solve it.  So the show goes to other European cites for some of the location shots.

Miranda Wilson (DAYS Megan Hathaway) was in an October 2022 episode of FBI International that was set in Majorca(Mallorca), and it was filmed on location there because she has Majorca pics from August 2022 on her IG.

Last night (Jan. 10, 2023)'s episode was set in Belgrade Serbia, but I don't know how much (if any) was filmed there, or if it was all filmed in Hungary.

So this is a cool opportunity for Kelley Missal, whether it's just a few episodes or if it continues.

Last year, there was a new nighttime soap on ABC, which got cancelled partway through its first season, and the first season finished up only on Hulu.  It was not renewed after that.
"The Promised Land", about a Mexican-American family who owns a California vineyard and winery.

New series on Freeform "The Watchful Eye" debuts Jan. 30, 2023.
It stars Mariel Molino (Carmen Sandoval from "The Promised Land")
and Henry Joseph Samiri (Douglas Forrester from B&B).

(Remember Henry took some time off from B&B in summer 2022 and Douglas was temporarily recast. That was when Henry was in Canada filming The Watchful Eye).

This is kind of old now but I just learnt about it, apparently Kimberly McCullough is a mentor of Olivia Rodrigo's and wore her Emmy dress in a Good Morning America performance. A family heirloom that was gifted to her by director/actress Franchesca James the day they shot the scenes where Stone died.

I had no idea they were connected at all! I'm so glad Kimberly's directing career seems to be going very well.

Meanwhile: A very candid Sarah Michelle Gellar cover story. AMC is only mentioned in passing, though to her credit SMG has always repped for it hardcore a la Julianne Moore. @DRW50

    • Ah okay, thats what I thought. I was hoping I missed the announcement somewhere. Thanks for the clarification.
    • A new day in Salem… and a new day for Days.  I like the way everybody found out and absorbed the news about John’s death, and how they all eventually found their way to Marlena’s to offer their condolences. I’m not particularly sure why they waited until the next day to tell everybody but I don’t really mind it.  We finally got Roman’s perspective! His scenes with Kayla were one of the best parts of today. I’m glad that Roman is thankful for everything that John did for his kids. I agree with posters who said that he should’ve had a scene like this with John, but I’m happy we got this at least.  Julie was used very well today too. She’s definitely the best person for Marlena to have scenes with at the moment. Hopefully, Julie continues to be there for her. And yes, I totally agree with Marlena and Belle sending EJ away when he came to the apartment. I’m curious to see what’s going to happen to his and Belle’s relationship in the aftermath of all this. And, while I enjoyed most of Brady and Kristen’s scenes, I still think the ship has sailed for them. Hopefully, the aftermath of John’s death causes Brady to finally end this thing with her once and for all.  And, I see a lot of people were wearing some kind of shade of purple today.

    • Wow, I love that current and former actors are participating in this. I barely recognize Staci Greason! She looks fine, just very different. But I will be happy to hear anecdotes from her. I shipped RoJohn and Isabella hard back in the day, and I sobbed buckets in my dorm room at college when Izzy B passed. Honestly, I'm interested in everyone's stories. Drake seemed like he was well loved among the cast.
    • When she first appeared, I was sure she was setting Tyrell up for a prank. She was too much of a manic pixie dream girl- I wasn't surprised Tyrell also became suspicious. Now I'm not so sure. If Jessica genuinely likes Tyrell, it seems like a missed opportunity to not have started her out as a bully, then we see her gradually catch feelings for Tyrell.  The McBrides are definitely the "C" family of BTG. They always get last priority. There have been a few times where the Doug/Vanessa/Joey characters reference off screen conversations which seem too important to not show us. Like when Doug thanked Joey for giving him extra time to pay off the loan. When did that happen? Or when we abruptly moved from Vanessa/Joey at Uptown to Vanessa/Doug in the hotel room. The McBrides don't even have their own set - even though Vanessa is a realtor. It's a shame because I am a fan of the characters and actors.

I am also adjusting to KR as Ted but I feel that AM and MJ had way more chemistry as father and daughter than AM and KR. We saw Eva dream of having a real relationship with MJ's version of Ted for months so it's a bit of a bummer not to have that payoff with the original actor except for those scenes in MJ's last episode.  Something I noticed about Eva today is how she takes genuine delight in being a schemer. As badly as she wants to be a Richardson, she still has so much of her mom in her. It was jarring seeing her earnestly promise to steer clear of Leslie in her scene with Ted, then immediately switch attitudes when her mom showed up.  I'm very surprised with how quickly the accident story has been moving along. I was sure that it would be months if not years before people figured out it was Leslie on the motorcycle, not to mention responsible for the potassium overdose. I'm looking forward to seeing how MVJ and Guza avoid writing Leslie into a corner.  Finally, I have been loving the Articulettes story. Bonita Brisker was just the right amount of OTT - remember Sharon is supposed to be even more angry than Tracy is. If Sharon didn't come in swinging, people would say she fell flat. The way Sharon and Tracy describe the breakup is so Supremes-meet-Original Recipe Destiny's Child. I get the sense that MVJ is re-writing the Return to Love Tour as a roman a clef, and I love it. I'm looking forward to finding out what the secret they share is. If Dante Green is as shady as Berry Gordy was, it's something dark. If/when they go through with the reunion, I expect Dante to show up and claim to own the Articulettes trademark in a Lou Pearlman-esque twist.
    • Other than hanging out with Liz, all of Lucky's stories have been stalled out or dropped; the relationship with his son; his wanderlust. He hasn't been involved in any of the action/adventure or con artist stuff. I don't think he's even had a scene with Sidwell since the latter came to town. He's a real after thought. I doubt he's long for the show.
