Members Cheap21
Sorry if this has been posted. I always thought alot of those telenovelas looked interesting but bc of the language barrier, I didnt know what the heck was going on http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/entertainmentnewsbuzz/2012/01/univision-telenovelas-with-a-twist-english-subtitles-.html
Members All My Shadows
FINALLY!!! I used to watch with Spanish captions when I was in high school (and taking Spanish class), and I could keep up fairly well, but this is gonna be even better. I wish it was Telemundo instead, though. Their stuff always looks more interesting to me.

Members London
Agreed! I still wanna know what happened on Mas Sabe El Diablo! That show was so good - I could keep up here and there but subtitles would have been heaven.
Members Soapsuds
I've been more of a Univision viewer but just finished watching Telemundo's La Casa de la lado and it was a good soap....now they are showing Dangerous Relationships...ie Relaciones Peligrosas..and they feature in the previews a bisexual male character.....he is making out with a female and then starts kissing a guy and making out with him....then he mentions something he is hiding from his father....so who knows.... Members YRBB
I'm glad! I've missed being able to watch a good telenovela.
Members DRW50
Are these still telenovelas? Some of these seem to be versions of some long running shows.
Members BingCherry
Well there goes any chance of NBC regaining any sort of ratings relevance.
Members Soapsuds
Univision has been doing a lot of remakes of old novelas.....Telemundo has more original novelas...although there is a telenovela called Maid in Manhattan. Which is a remake of the movie that Jennifer Lopez appeared in. Telemundo is gaining on Univision ratings wise.
Members DRW50
Thanks. I just wondered because the one you mentioned, with the students, is based on a show that ran about 6-7 years.
Members dc11786
You're probably aware 'Relaciones Peligrosas' is airing with English captions. They are rerunning the first four episodes on Telmundo and Telemundo2 this weekend. 'RP' is a remake of the Spanish novela Chemical or Physical? which airs seasons as Carl mentioned. Members Soaplovers
I think Telemundo has been doing english subtitles on and off for a few years... I think today was the official day of Univision doing English sub-titles.... I guess to celebrate the premiere of new telenovela El Tailsman? Members SFK
I've switched the audio feed and watched B&B in Spanish a couple of times just for fun. It would be cool if these novellas were eventually dubbed in English on the sap.
Members ~bl~
My local area doesn't carry the spanish feed of B&B, I hope I can figure out how to get Univision to do the subtitles....
