December 1, 201114 yr Member Yep. That's the obvious go to when it comes to heart. Emily would be another choice, but she's dead. Bobby, but who knows if they can afford her. I'm really at a loss as to how any heart can be put back into this show, of course, I'm not a writer, so I'm sure someone out there could do it, if they have the resources. If GH weren't on life support, I'd suggest introducing a new family, one who is middle- or working-class, and who represents the viewers' most cherished values, with a kind matriarch at the top as a sort of new moral compass for the show.
December 1, 201114 yr Member I'm glad GH is gonna get a decent swan song! ABC fans are more lucky than they know! Let's not get too excited. Frank and Ron haven't started, and it'll be a while before their efforts show up on-screen. Yes, I, too, hope they will send GH out on a good note. However, for all we know, the (brief) FV/RC era of GH might end up being just as bad as everything else (if not worse). Edited December 1, 201114 yr by Khan
December 1, 201114 yr Member about Sharon Wyatt http://articles.nyda...-bone-death-jaw Oh my god that's awful. Bone death is really terrible. Poor Sharon, I do hope she's pulled through since that story was written. And I hope she successfully sues the [!@#$%^&*] out of Merck.
December 1, 201114 yr Member The problem I have with characters like Lucy and Kevin is who is left for them to interact with where somone like Denise Alexander and JAckie Zeman still have family and connections remaining on the show and it would be easy to throw them into the hospital mix also. Lucy was close to Luke, although that was a different Luke. I'd mostly bring Lucy and Kevin back for the last week. It would be fun if she bought the hospital or something, and the last episode was about the hospital being saved.

The other problem is I'm not sure what a decent swansong would be for those who loved the recent years compared to those who loved the early days. I guess with RC all we know is someone will be raped out of love.

I guess with RC all we know is someone will be raped out of love. Thats true and in all honesty aside from a Luke and Laura or maybe Alan and Monica or Robert and Anna, who would resonate with the entire audience, I am not sure there is a GH Tina and Cord that all viewers could recognize or relate to. Thats what happens when you kill off and ignore years of your history.
December 2, 201114 yr Member Other news is that Maurice Benard is leaving or was fired Why the fu ck did it take so long!?
December 2, 201114 yr Member I never really watched OLTL but I am very happy that they are coming to my show. I hope it's a good sign that the show might make it through 2012. Here's what I wish for 1) The return of Lucy and Laura 2) Sonny is out of the mob and cooks at Kelly's 3) The Q are back in the spotlight, how about bringing back Jimmy Lee and Celia and Alan 4) I'm trying to think of a way to bring back Alan alive, but I can't think of anything (not a twin) 5) Cast Robin Strasser or Erika Slezak 6) Out with the newbies

December 2, 201114 yr Member The cast of GH has taken to their Twitter pages to weigh in on the ouster of longtime Executive Producer Jill Farren Phelps. "I can't fully express the gratitude and love I have for Jill Phelps," noted Bradford Anderson (Spinelli). "A consummate professional and a kick ass lady. Thank you for everything." Laura Wright (Carly), stated, "Tons of love and hugs and thanks yous to Miss Jill Phelps -- Always grateful!!!" Lisa LoCicero (Olivia) added, "Love Jill Phelps. She's been like a den mother a dear friend and a fearless leader all at once... Will be forever grateful to her ... Have also had the pleasure of knowing and working under [new GH EP] Frank Valentini. Guy's a force of nature, and if anyone can make GH work, he can." http://www.soapopera...rs-weigh-phelps
