Members EricMontreal22
HAHA it's sad but true But that's a fair point, while obviously poor OLTL will never get the attention AMC did (I'm half kidding btw), surely there'll be reports about its final episode, maybe info about whether SOD/SOW do a tribute issue (I loved their one for AMC so much that I hope they do), etc, that would go in this thread. Members Jonathan
Maybe there will be info about the special People Magazine issue for OLTL.

Members MontyB
Anyone notice how this one who is "tired" the fan wars seems to be the one that keeps it going. Child boo!!
Members Marco Dane
I know this is a AMC and OLTL thread but what the hell is going on backstage at GH
Members Juliajms
That's ok, this thread will include GH soon enough. I have no idea what's going on. My guess would be that people are coming to terms with this being the end of the road and adjusting accordingly.
Members marceline
Yep. The whole ABC soap factory is closing down. GH is just bringing in the liquidators.

Members DRW50
I guess the network will end with The The marathons 24/7. Maybe they can do it telethon style with Tim Gunn politely but sternly requesting money.
Members dragonflies
ABC Soaps In Depth Official Page Oh, ABC. People watching SOAPnet do not want to see two days of 5-hr blocks of The Chew! But "The Chew's Countdown To Christmas" is what will be airing on 12/17 and 12/18! Members DRW50
Bleh. The only reason I'd be happy if they were doing well is because I like a few of the people involved (Symon, Hall, Kelly), although I don't think Hall or Kelly will last long. But Batali annoys me. I'm still in disbelief he chose to skip the first episode. Not exactly a vote of confidence.
Members ~bl~
They are showing reruns of The Chew on Soapnet, ugh. What wonderful news, they are showing it mid-December and not on Christmas weekend.
Members SFK
WHAT?? Not gonna lie, I answer to God and not folk, I have had The Chew on as background more than a couple times. I of course resent that AMC was sacrificed for it, but it is a perfectly passable cooking show (though I expected to like Carla Hall more). That said, airing it on SoapNet is a HUGE party foul, what a slap in the face and totally inappropriate programming choice. Dirty. Well, might as well, SoapNet's been working non-soaps into their schedule from jump street.
