I also thought Nick Scotti was much more charming and charismatic than I expected, and he showed some potential for dramatic ability. He left Y&R too soon, IMO.

You got his name backwards. ^_^ I agree that he was fun in Wed-Locked but *oof!* to Remy. He's a really nice guy but kind of a dumb blonde trapped in a muscular black dude's body.

Muwahahah... perfect description. Beautiful man, yes, but oy to the acting.

I know everyone and their mother complain about those dreaded Ford brothers on OLTL, but I love me some David Gregory!

I agree about the remarks that Eric Martsolf (Brady, DAYS) can't do drama. You just know he's better suited for comedy, parody, and shtick. As a dramatic actor, he comes across as an actor from soft porn.

This is going back a long time but I didn't know about Dennis Parker's porn star past at the time I was watching him play a police chief on EON, a role I found him quite convincing in! I think he might have done alright for himself in soaps after EON's cancellation had he lived.

Also, former model Ian Buchanan has done quite well for himself. Have to say, though, that I never saw him on B & B or TP but his first gig on GH, even though I liked him very much as Duke Lavery, I don't think was that demanding acting-wise as it seemed to capitalize mainly on his good looks and Scottish charm. When Duke wasn't being charming, he was brooding. Ian's PC and AMC stints were campy and over the top storywise anyway so hard to gauge his dramatic ability there. So I'm not sure of his range but he has had a lengthy career.

How about Ewa DaCruz (Vienna Hyatt, ATWT). She was arguably the most beautiful woman ever on a soap opera, and her initial scenes had her playing an airhead. But when Henry dumped her at the altar the first time, and when she miscarried the baby, she really rose to the occasion.

I still hate, though, how ATWT made Vienna look awful in order to end her relationship w/ Henry and then pair him w/ Barbara. It was lazy on the show's part, IMO, and it was really, really unfair, too.

Eh....Ewa wasn't that great. She never did gel in the show. Her acting grated on my nerves.

I hate how ATWT insisted that Henry was a straight man.

We all knew he had the hots for Mike.

^ Well, actually, it seemed that Henry always became the "best friend" of whatever man Katie was married to at the time ... Simon, Mike, Brad (Jack not so much). Hmmmm....

Although I have no objection to the Henry/Barbara coupling, I too hated the way they sacrificed Vienna at the "Benry" altar. Would it have killed the writers to have one last scene where Vienna says she knows Henry belongs with Barbara, but she wants to part as friends, because of their long history? Then Henry could forgive Vienna in a tear-jerking scene before she leaves. Instead, we get Ewa's last scene clad in a towel with Chris Hughes. Just one more reason to hate the way the writers wrote the end of ATWT,.

I felt the same way. I actually had little problem buying Henry as straight - he always had enough romantic chemistry with Vienna and Barbara to make up for how flaming he was - but I don't think they needed to have Vienna exit with such little dignity. It's the same lazy writing that made them ship Emma and Meg off like they were a bad smell.

Please, who didn't have the hots for Mike Kasnoff?

Which one?...lol...I found all the Mikes hot...lol.

I must be the only one to never get Barbara/Henry...

Eh...I wasnt a fan either. I would have prefered Barbara stay single but closer to her family. Make her a strong independent woman again with BRO.

I would have wanted this more when her family (RHPaul) wasn't so awful to watch, but after a decade spent going psycho over her kids, and most of her interesting kids being gone, I was relieved to see her in another story.
