April 17, 201114 yr Member Trent Garrett: Whether or not it is something I should reveal before the powers that be do, I feel it is only right to be completely honest with #AMC fans. It is with great sadness that I have to confirm that I will not be among the final cast when the show concludes this September. The character of Asher will exit early and I will be filming my final scenes soon. It is with pride that I go out, knowing I met some incredible friends and worked with some of the best daytime has to offer. From my co-stars to the crew behind the scenes, each and every person has made a difference in my life and been stellar to work with and for. I loved my time at All My Children, and the fans are a giant part of that love. The future has endless possibilities and I look forward to seeing what will happen. http://www.twitlonger.com/show/9svp3n

April 17, 201114 yr Member Lorraine Broderick did not waste time getting rid of dead weight. Move over Asher, time to make for Adam and Brooke. I think Asher would have been a good character for PV, if there were going to be a next generation. Since there isn't...
April 17, 201114 yr Member Good. He doesn't belong with the final episodes. Now if he can take his boring father with him.

You know I see Lindsay Hartley being there till the end, but not JV. I think LB will get rid of that dead weight prettydamnquick. Next to go: Griffin Caleb Not really a newbie, they need to get MW back as Liza for the end Probably Marissa

I can see the character of Griff going to GH though. The character's back story hasn't been fleshed out enough where they would have problems integrating him. Edited April 17, 201114 yr by Jonathan
April 17, 201114 yr Member I think Griffin will be around unless they can get TK back. Too bad Lorraine wasn't at ATWT at the end, when Craig's boring and soap-allergic insta-son stunk up months and months of the final episodes.
April 17, 201114 yr Member I liked Asher. I was hoping LB would make some semblance of her original story in regards to Adam and his alleged son with Sonia Reyes
April 17, 201114 yr Member I liked Asher. I was hoping LB would make some semblance of her original story in regards to Adam and his alleged son with Sonia Reyes There just isn't enough time anymore. I'm sure she would have.
April 17, 201114 yr Member So if he is filming his final scenes "soon" then his earlier comments about ending filming in June were about the entire show, not him. Lorraine Broderick or not, the end is going to be a total rushed mess. I don't think they will let people go unless they have cycles up soon. Otherwise there is no money to be saved; they will have to pay them anyways. TG has a cycle up soon. Not sure about the Castillos, Marissa, etc. Edited April 17, 201114 yr by LeClerc

Next to go: Griffin Asher is easy to get rid of bc he's doing nothing and hasnt been used in any significant capacity for a while now. Griffin will most likely be here to the end. He's too interwined in main plots to just remove. With just 5 months, he will most likely ride it out. I see him and Kendall finally becoming a couple before Zach is revealed to be alive in the last month. Kendall chooses Zach and Griff moves on. No way do I see LB simply removing him first chance she gets
April 17, 201114 yr Member Lorraine Broderick or not, the end is going to be a total rushed mess. Pretty much. Granted, it probably won't be as bad the final episodes of CAPITOL or LOVE OF LIFE, but I'm not holding my breath for anything that feels like honest-to-God closure. It'll all be messy and rushed as hell, w/ all kinds of [!@#$%^&*], such as what to do about Jesse and Angie once the baby switch is exposed, swept under the old rug.

Too bad Lorraine wasn't at ATWT at the end, when Craig's boring and soap-allergic insta-son stunk up months and months of the final episodes. I don't know, I see LB writing him out, TK or no TK. This might seem like wishful thinking, but with AN on board, and she's a TK fan, I can see her either having Kendall end up a strong independent woman, who doesn't need a man, or having TK return to escort AM/Kendall out the way she should be. I think that's why OLTL had the casting call for a TK body double, why bother if TK is unemployed and available........... Edited April 17, 201114 yr by dragonflies
