I cannot believe more of you are not saddened by this. Despite what has become of soaps in the past few years, this is the end of something that was once a staple of culture. All of us here, or most of us, grew up on these shows.

It doesn't make anyone else sad that you won't get to turn on your TV and see these characters anymore? Obviously, it's still just a show, but soap operas are different. This is truly the end of a generation, and it is sad.

I already went through it with ATWT cancellation. GL didnt hit me that hard because the show was too of hot mess for me to cry over it.

I was shocked in seeing this thread. Moreso because of OLTL quick cancellation. I thought they would give it another full year. AMC has very little time left for their ending.

I know it's completely unreasonable and I expect to read tons of posts about how both shows deserved to die, fighting about which could have been saved, bla bla, but right now, I admit, I'm devestated. Far more than I expected to me.

Same goes for my two anchors. One is like 9 months preggo and was about to cry. The other (a guy) was like 'This sucks'
