That's probably why they broke it now...to try to change the subject from the cancellation rumors. It will be interesting to see how they explain this all.

Well, I think if anything is guaranteed, it's that this will be a giant clusterf*ck of a storyline.

Why fire Susan Haskell right when one of her most celebrated acting partners is returning?

I know Roger has a lot of fans and I'm happy for them but if OLTL is ending it's a shame so many are not going to be brought back yet this same noble rapist stuff is going to continue to clog up storyline.

Yep, but Trevor has had job security for a good long while, which has led (at least partially) to the bored attitude, imo. RH just had one job ripped away from him and this one doesn't exactly seem secure to me. That's why I assume that he will come across as less bored. I may be wrong, but that's just my take on the situation.
