Members Goldensoaps
I think that the oldest set in soaps is ONE LIFE TO LIVE's Llanfair from 1968. What do you think? I have seen several classic OLTL clips and Llanfair is there with the library and the chimney!! In 1969: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Fp9pEFPsSY&feature=related In 1981: Please register in order to view this content
Members Darn
I believe Llanfair has burned down at least once. I think this honor might go to Katherine's house on Y&R.

Members Mr. Vixen
Well the oldest setting would be General Hospital, but since it's been burned down, blown up, and remodeled so many times...I dont know.
Members ER Tosh
I guess this depends on what you think counts as a set change. It may be Katherine's house since judging from video on youtube the place pretty much looked the same in the 70's .
Members FrenchFan
Alice's living room I guess. Been around since day 1 and still recognizable.
Members jcar03
The Horton living room doesn't look like it have changed whatsoever.
Members DaytimeFan
The Horton living room has changed slightly over the years and I'm not sure if the set we see now (rare it is) is the same set, the colours seemed really different. Katherine's house on Y&R is definitely in the running. The only thing that's changed is the odd piece of set decoration.
Members Paul Raven
The Horton set has had some changes over the years (in fact i read that not one piece is identical) but is visually similar and is supposed to be the same room. Katherine's set is identical. the decor has changed (curtains, sofa etc) but the color pallette and layout is identical. The Newman ranch has been around since 1980-it was redone around 89 and is BADLY in need of an upgrade. The Abbott set has been on since 82. Members alphanguy74
Yes, Katherine's house has been virtually unchanged. The sofa has been re-upholstered once, but the chandelier wall sconces, color scheme... all the same. At 1:53, you can see that in 1975, the carpeting on her stairs were red... while in the 80's until today it's beige: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uip_Wtj7ymw

Members JAS0N47
The Horton Living Room and the Horton Kitchen were sets both used in November 1965 and appeared last year. Though not the exact same sets, they still represent the same rooms that appeared over a 45-year span.
Members Dr Neil Curtis
I felt as if the Horton set had change, the stairs where face another way and the front was positioned to the side.
Members EricMontreal22
I know fans were pretty upset when the Martin place was rebuilt in 1995 after the tornado on AMC (although honestly I had barely seen the original set for the 4 or so years I had been awatching till then.
