GH: February Discussion Thread

A spoiler tag for what? It has already been on air and things that happened during the show are talked about in here. Maybe this whole threat should be moved to the Spoiler Island. I now go to the Desperate Housewive discussion read everything and blame the people in there for spoiling me because I'm 2 episode behind. ;)

Who are you again?

It's called being considerate. Do you know what that is? It's taking into account the fact that not everyone who watches this show can watch at exactly 3pm nor is everyone who watches this show when it airs watching in the same time zone. So if there is a surprise or a "shocking" ending, it's an act of consideration to let everyone at least have a fair chance to see it and not wreck the whole thing five seconds after it airs. That's what the spoiler tags are for. I've put up with this dragging story for the last six months. I'm not going to apologize for being pissed off that, finally, this story has a substantial twist, and I'm not able to enjoy it with those who did. So, sit down. It's over.

I definitely have to agree with this. I don't think he did it on purpose, but it would be nice in the future if people were a bit more considerate. I myself generally can't get around to GH till around 9 or 10, depending on the day. I don't think I've watched an episode live in years.

I'm disappointed....That IS a great twist, I just wish I could have been surpirsed by it.

Im with those that say anything thats aired is fair game. People shouldnt be coming into a thread where LIVE discussion regularly occurs for a show. The days I work, I dont come into a thread until Ive seen a show for this reason. Its common sense that theres a good chance that days episode would have been spoiled by those who already have seen it before I had a chance

Does this mean Brenda's kid is alive?

Oh wow, I did not even think about that and that would be alot more rewarding than simply having her had some miscarriage which was very anticlimatic

Who I am? Don't worry you don't know me since I don't live in this forum.

I do understand that you are pissed, but you are not new to the internet so you should know things like that can happen especially in this thread, so you should not be surprised. Just be careful. On the other hand who would have thought that GH would actually shock anyone, and now it did and the twist was ruined for you both I get that, but you have to blame at least a little bit yourself too.

Anyway, somebody posted about the Balkan and Suzanne on the SON Community main paige under the recent status update, I think that is wrong.

I said it before & still stand by it, Brenda said that back when she was pregnant in Africa or wherever she passed out & when she woke up her baby was gone and she was under the impression she had a miscarriage. Wouldn't be surprised if Suzanne did something to her to make her pass out like that so that she could snatch that thing and stash it somewhere. Only thing I have trouble understanding is how far along was Brenda in the pregnancy? If she was in the early stages how could it have been taken out of her body & maintained?! Anyway I have no doubt Suzanne & jabba the Balkin hut know where their "grandson" really is.

Um so why did The Balkan need Siobhan to find out and tell him where the wedding was going to be held if all the while he's been married to Suzanne, who pretty much has 24 hour access to Brenda? Oh and how could he never get to her before if Suzanne always knew her schedule? I'm not in the least to surprised about this revelation about these two, I speculated about it before lol I found this all very predictable to be honest, but I get the feeling GH writers just made this up recently LOL or forgot how they were writing before.

Shawn: "It was nice meeting you Miss McCall" LOL! You have met her before, silly...you used to be her ex-boyfriend Chase!! ;-)

Why did he need to wait 3 years to try and kill her? Considering Suzanne had access to Brenda all this time, why didnt she just kill her and be done with it? Why did Theo need to go through this big eleaborate plot and spend all this time scheming to destroy Brenda, when all he had to do was arrange for his wife (or one of their men) to just kill her. This could have happeend at any time before Brenda reconnected with Jason

I think they've put it off all this time because they want to know the truth about alexander. They new he disappeared and they weren't going to kill Brenda until they found out if he was dead and just how he died if so. Brenda was unlikely to speak to someone she just met, and maybe after a few years they just got sick of waiting and realized she would be more likely to tell someone she had history with...and thus came this whole plot.

As for siobhan being needed, I would say it was more of something to add support. Siobhan had information from Lucky and the police, which Suzanne didnt ...Also, as for Siobhan being assigned to find out where the wedding is....Suzanne was always supposed to be extremely opposed to the wedding, so for her to all the sudden show all kinds of interest as to whereit was happening would be weird...

Surprisingly, I think this is a pretty good twist and could end up being well written if he explains the questions above.

It was a great twist and i'm shocked it didn't get spoiled.

What like about these villians is that they have a reason do be doing what yhey're doing.

Adrienne Barbeau said she was surprised too, but has known for awhile:

TV Guide Magazine: Oh, hell no! Did you?

Barbeau: It was a shock to me, too! I've known for a while. I knew about this back when Daniel Benzali's first scenes were airing because I remember sitting there watching the show and thinking, "Oh, this is going to be fun!" But nobody else in the cast knew about it, not even Daniel. Since word got out on the set last week, the other actors have been coming up going, "Is it really true? You're married to the Balkan? Really?"

TV Guide Magazine: Suzanne has spent months wringing her hands over Brenda's well-being. So it was all an elaborate fraud? Brenda's gonna freak when she finds out!

Barbeau: When [head writer] Bob Guza told me about Suzanne's true identity I was, like, wait a minute, how can this be? How do I justify all of Suzanne's behavior up until now? How do you explain her friendship with Brenda? I also wondered if I'd have played any of this differently if I'd known all the facts when they hired me.

So this is interesting...is Suzanne basically raising money through that charity to fund criminal activity? Or is it a real organization?

Also, was that another mob family or was that The Balkan/Alexander that Sonny mentioned trafficked and exploited children? How sick.

There you go both using logic, it's not rocket science, haven't seen it, why on earth would someone come into a thread that's discussing the show Live as it's airing?

OMG get over yourself. So let's just have the mods close all the discussion threads till everyone has seen the episode for the day since some who can't use their heads and come into a thread that is DISCUSSING THAT DAYS episode and then whines they were spoiled.

So. How long will it be before Tony Geary bitches about being the Kelly's Counter Slave?

Wow, Theo and Suzanne are a couple. What a twist I did NOT expect. I think it beefs up this story just a little bit. Good job keeping that one quiet, GH.
