Im with you guys in that it does look like Nik lost weight. I noticed it

Elizabeth is a trifling heffer and Im glad Brook called her on it. She wants Lucky but since she cant have him, she's using her child to try and snag Nik instead. She's a stupid ass ho

LOL @ Brenda saying "I think you just don't want me to leave you" to Jason. Who is she kidding?? Unless I missed something or have not been reading in between the lines clear enough, he cannot wait for your exhausting ass to leave lol!!

Brenda just looks a total mess also! Chipped nail polish, stringy dirty hair, just everything....is all this supposed to reflect her frailty as a character right now or what.

So disappointed in Liz today like I pretty much ALWAYS am these days sad.gif GH writes her in such a lazy, pathetic way. She will always be one of my fave GH characters but her quality as one has just been decimated. I hate that she still wants Nik! I just don't want her to want anyone right now! Sad..

Looks like Molly is suffering from PTSD & possibly Bi-polar disorder, I can already feel some Molly/Sonny scenes coming up where Molly goes to him & he talks to her about acting out. Maybe she'll go to Michael to...lol.

the thing is Liz doesnt want Nikolas. She's only over there bc Steve reminded her that her coochie is lonely. She's settling with Nikolas bc she has NOTHING going for her in her life outside of changing diapers and trooping around with her 3 kids. Nik is really the best she can do now even if he isnt what she wants (that would be Lucky but he isnt looking her way)

I just think the story lost momentum after the super hype I don't have issues with multi-generational love stories

e.g. Maggie/Victor on Days but their story IMO based on their angsty past for me should have been pure fluff at the beginning

because w/ a wedding coming up if Sonny shows and she doesn't get shot at the alter Guza 101 tells me something is going to

happen

...Rome her being sequestered in Jason's PimpHouse with this "I have to protect you" is what ruined the story for me.

Sonny is the mob I didn't need the Balkan after her too. I think the Dante backstory is ludicrous the Balkan should have been

just after him. What better way for mob chieftain Sonny to have to step up ...another Intn'l crime lord after his son.

For me momentum is huge in storytelling once that pacing is lost and/or dragged out the story loses its beats for me

usually I just don't care that much about what happens because the mundane sets in then the formula starts playing

out....

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I'm a huge Elizabeth Webber fan and most of us haven't liked the way she has been written in "years" but I didn't interpret her story as having a lonely coochie and if she did so what? Nik flat out said he would replace the 5 mil which is chump change for him and she refused and her brother has offered to give her money she refused that too...
And has historically refused money from Jason and Nik who both did it anyway during brokey dopey Lucky. Nik gave Lucky $300,000 right after his addiction (storyline).
In fact before Guza threw her under to be this cheater / liar re: these endless triangles and babies babies (highlighted starting in the Fronsonian period around 2002...and now)
for JJ's Lucky she has always been extremely protective of Nik since the musketeer days and said so in dialog several times. She doesn't like Brooklyn its that simple and she doesn't have to..I wanted her to but I knew she would be battling the Dick Brothers paramours.
I don't know if she knows how BL pimped herself out drugged her BFF from the hood so he would bang her to do Carly's bidding to break up his relationship and/or tried to steal money from her grandfather. Brooklyn has been shown to be about a buck manipulative and deceitful just like Elizabeth. The pimping in the writing kicks in because she isn't learned of Brooklyns deceit it doesn't matter because I think the writing will go to AL's Brooklyn who is a Ferron-Phelps pet because if it was equal Elizabeth would know of her manipulations instead of it just being "one" sided.
However as a viewer who knows what Brooklyn has done for the love of money pimped herself out and now a paid escort when she had other alternatives
I would say that Elizabeth has reason for concern and Nik should watch his drinks.
I'm so glad I wasn't the only one who noticed Brook and Nikolas! TC has cleaned himself up a little and actually looked present and committed to his scenes. And Adriana Leon -- the Brooklyn of old is back! I just have so much affection for this character, for some reason.
And I sort of loved Bitchy Liz shoehorning her way into Nik's life with the bayyyybeeee. It makes for some great story and finally gives Liz some bite. As long as they don't turn her into Carly and Aiden into the next Michael, because that was the plot-twist that stank up GH forever.
    • I'm thinking he's much older than the age he's playing and botoxed the hell out if his face - that's why it doesn't move. Source: I saw him in a 2012 episode of CSI. Not only was he already in his 20s, but his face moved back then.
    • I didn’t even think of that OMG Tomas not even pretty enough to make taking his “acting” palpable. And his two potential love interests are played by these genuinely charismatic actresses
      . I think Martin’s flying off the handle so much is intentional and plays into the secret. The family seems to know theres some rage issues there.
    • I see a pattern here.
    • I liked when Felicia was over the top and was more Felicia the writer than Felicia the mother figure. Personal taste as always. For me, Felicia was AW to me. She was one of the few constants on a show that was constantly changing.  RIP Denise Alexander. I always liked her on the show despite her storyline never reaching its full potential. The sad thing is I would watch that storyline in a second over so much of what happened on AW from 1986 onwards. Strangely, youtube recommended a AW episode to me last night that involved Mary comforting Scott about Dawn. I really do wish they had found a way to make those two characters work long term.
    • Yes, I like him too. He is a good actor, and I agree with your comments about his personality. I also want to add, I think that he comes across as realistic and IMO sane. Yeah, he's done some bad things, but he seems pretty in control for the most part and not the least bit crazy. I appreciate that type of behavior in someone who can behave like a villain. And I continue to buy that he really does love his daughters. Unlike Leslie who seems to only use and mistreat Eva, I have seen Bill soften when it comes to his daughters. And I do believe he would do what he felt he had to do to protect them. His love for his children, helps make him more layered as a character. I really enjoyed his scenes with Dani today. I enjoyed the show today. I thought that the scenes with Nicole being comforted by both her parents including them switching out to comfort her were sweet and cute. I particularly enjoyed her scenes with Vernon. I love her relationship with her parents. I also liked Tomas/Eva scenes. He genuinely seems to care about her, and I am interested in seeing how things will play out between them and him and Kat.
    • Dani really got on my nerves. Her own life is a total disaster, yet she interferes with everyone else's. What could she possibly say to Ted that will change anything? That will help anyone? And as you said, while she bashes Bill, she wants him back -- all the while knowing who he is and who he's been for years. None of these scenes are pushing me to appreciate Dani. -- OTOH, Bill got some very good shots in at Dani. He won that face-off. -- June is just a ball of cliches and stereotypes to this point. I hope this goes somewhere. -- Martin flies off the handle much too easily, but I did appreciate that he grew calm and subdued, and even sad, with Ted. -- I'm glad Tomas is pretty, because damn, that acting. -- I'm glad Derek looks so good in tight jeans, because damn, that acting. -- LMAO at Leslie gaining entrance to Nicole's house because Nicole wanted the front door ajar so Door Dash could leave her takeout.
    • No, we would really do it.  Those pix were so famous! In early May 1970 Susan introduced Doug Williams to Julie. Her intent was evil. But, it backfired on her. Doug & Julie fell in love. Everyone knows the rest of this story.
    • Doesn't matter if its off topic. No need to point it out. Things will get back on topic soon enough. They always do . . . And I do love the off topic photos from the Bill Bell era!  So thanks.
