Yeah, brenda wanted Jason to go to the wedding...He said no.

I thought it was great that they went to see Edward. Michael is related to Luke and Tracy both, and Jason is related to Tracy. They had just as much reason to be there as Carly, Jax, or even Brenda.

The only time I like Jason is when he's with Edward.

I finally figured out why Edward seems so suddenly taken by Ethan. He's so desperate to have people in his family, that he's willing to pay people to be in his family. Kinda sad considering everyone around him tends to die

Love Tracy getting into protective grandmother role.

It was innaproopriate how they were dressed. Jason was in his usual black leather and Michael showed up in jeans. They didnt show up to attend the wedding. If they wanted to see Edward, they could have waited till the next day. If they were going to show up, the least they could have done was dress up instead of going there all casual. It was rude of them to just show up during a wedding reception without a suit on

It is sad. Edward really just wants someone to love, and they all keep dying :(

Love protective Tracy.

I agree about dress. They should have gotten nicer dressed. Jason could have worn that one suit he owns, and I'm sure Michael had something a little nicer.

I mean it was a little rude to just show up, but I don't think Tracy or Luke would care. Hell, if Tracy can tolerate SONNY being there, I'm sure she can handle Jason, who is actually related to them, and Michael, who she never really had any gripes with (despite her dislike of his mother).

:( You're probably right... :(

Hey, maybe Bobbie and Monica will turn up at the funeral?

HA, I just HAD to. :D

But seriously, I hope Edward doesnt die. </3

Also, am I the only one who was WAY more intrigued with the rerun episodes than with the current ones?

And NO, BELLCURVE it's not just because bobbie was in them.

I just found them better. Better storyline. And better acting. Laura Wright and Maurice Benard both actually...seemed like they weren't bored. Kelly Monaco didn't look like she hadn't slept in 10 years. Julie Marie Berman could move her face, and Lulu had personality. Skye and Lorenzo were there.

Overall, i think that was the last time GH was really, good..

I literally cannot come up with a someone who was worse. Even the guy who played Cooper was better than TK. All he could do was roll an R, and then only an R in one specific word. He sucked at comedy dreadfully, he was horrible at romance, he couldn't do drama. He was handsome and had a good face, that was his entire skill set.

try the guy in your avatar. Ive warmed up to Ethan a bit but NP is still a poor actor and probably one of the weakest links on the show. Maurice Bernard has been phoning it in for years and TK was much better than him when they acted against each other.

I don't see it. I am no fan of Maurice Benard and can't stand Sonny but he has shown his skill many a time. I really came to appreciate his talent when Laura Wright came on and he recreated scenes he played with the other Carlys. With just the change of an inflection here and a pause there, his dialogue almost went from drama to comedy.

Nathan Parsons I give credit to because he has a total command of the English language and is not afraid of wordy dialogue and syllables and gives Ethan a gentlemanly quality. He won me over in a scene he did with CT and TG where he had to synchronize his dialogue with TG to the second and did the comedy perfectly. Outside of perhaps "I don't like him" what makes you say Nathan Parsons is not a good actor? NP also impressed me when he held his own during the physical comedy shtick in Las Vegas where all five actors had to do their own little things independent of each other at the wedding and then all totaled it became a scene.

The weakest link on the show currently I would have to say is Jason Thompson, whose stunning lack of talent is so overpowering he brings KMc down to his lackluster level.

    • The thing with Martin (for me) is that he should have been Anita and Vernon's kid. I honestly think he would have been fine being an older or younger brother to Dani and Nicole. It also would have made his relationship and kids feel more realistic. A handsome salt and pepper late 40s/early 50s congressman who settled down and adopted kids to fit an image for politics. Not that he didn't want this lifestyle but it is what he needed to do to get ahead. Also, we don't often get older characters playing LGBT roles not just on daytime but across most media. It would have been a refreshing take. As an alternative, Sam and Ty could have been Martin's kids from an earlier marriage a la the NJ governor that was outed. We could have also seen parallels between Vernon and Anita thinking back to how they handled Martin coming out compared to the way they accepted Chelsea.  As for Martin being Nicole and Ted's kid, I do wish in this case he was not tied to a marriage and kids, so that he could date and sleep around like any other character on a soap.  Yeah, I didn't get it...but what I did get is that girl is a bit crazy like her mama.  Vanessa and Joey talking about the poker table...get these people off my screen.

    • Unpopular opinion, but I didn't think the show should have reunited Billy/Vanessa at all until the final stretch of the show. When watching the 1989 episodes when both Vanessa and Billy return after being off the show... I liked that Vanessa had moved on from him and that the show was hinting at her wanting to reunite with her first love Ross while looking down at Nadine for being the one Ross was dating.  And I loved the twist where Billy and Nadine teamed up to keep Vanessa/Ross apart.   This was an interesting concept that sadly the writers dropped with the show deciding to make Vanessa pine over Billy between 1990 and 1993 when they finally reunited.   To me, Vanessa pining over Billy seemed out of character. At least once Billy was carted off to prison in 1994... she and Billy divorced and stayed divorced until the final months when they finally found their way back together.  During the years when they were divorced, I liked that they had maintained a friendship and connection.. with viewers (like my late mom) wondering if they would ever decide to make it work again. I wish the show had tried that with Josh/Reva because by the time of the final episode when they rode off into the sunset, I didn't care because we'd been through the make up and break ups between them for over 10+ years by that point.
    • I break down the primetime soap era (start of Dallas to end of Knots Landing) as  Up to Spring 1982: Building the foundation. Fall 1982-Spring 1985: Peak. Fall 1985-Spring 1988: Tanking. Fall 1988 onward: Off the rails plus budget mode. Of course individual shows vary and I've broken down each show in their threads.
    • I’m ready for Portia and Curtis to divorce and get it over with. Portia cheating with Isaiah would make for a fun love quadrangle with Jordan.

    • They didn't need to have some slutty gay dude as their representation. Just a 'normal' guy getting involved with another guy or two (or three). Just like the straight characters. Thinking about it, they missed the boat by not having a few other single charcters at the beginning. Maybe Naomi or Ashley could be shown meeting Derek/Jacob and  we could follow their romance. Too many characters were coupled up at the start. As a tattoo hater I was surprised to see Tomas so inked. Don't find it attractive or sexy. I'm surprised an actor would do that as it's definitely a statement and may not be appropriate for some roles. Suppose they can cover if necessary. I didn't buy Kat being all girly and then paying off Darius to get into Eva's room. Way too cliche. She should have just come along when the housekeeping was leaving and breezed in saying it was her room. And her smug looks in the hotel room and 'Now I've got you!!' talks to herself at Orphey Gene's...no.
    • Omg I was so annoyed. Like girl calm down. Coming on way too strong. Omg I forgot about this
