I found this on my computer... I downloaded the clip in 2015, so this should be the uncut original airing... the quality is much worse than the 12/30/16 version, of course! It has the penthouse scene.

Thanks Soo much for this even though we seen the better quality but the brooks last scene together is classic, I wish they did visit town often after this and mixed with the newer croud

Another more straightforward way is clicking "Show All" and then you get a link page like this https://archive.org/download/TheYoungTheRestlessLateApril1982partial and just right click on the .wmv file and "save link as." 

 

It's important that as many of us download these files as possible, in case they ever get removed and someone has to upload it to youtube. Having multiple copies floating around helps preserve these amazing finds.

I found that I had the full original scene of Victor and Nikki discussing his impotence (I posted it as a minisode but it was heavily edited).  This is really great acting from MTS, especially when she debates whether to see no to Victor. Is it just me or does EB subtly look down at his groin at 2:25, hah.

I'm the one who bought the two episodes (one was from March 3, 1978 and the other is from August 22, 1975 (not '78)) and I'm having them transferred now and should have them back soon. Then I will share them!

Watching the October 1992 episode. I never realized Paul had that in him. In years recent he's been the "good guy" but the outright disregard for Scott Grainger here, wow. Sheila might have been crazy but Lauren was no saint either. Lauren was upset Sheila stole her husband only to cheat on him when she does have him to herself. Scott seemed like a pretty good husband, only to be caught between a cheater and a crazy, lol. 

 

Looking back the baby switch and puzzle story lines comes off as karma. At least Stephanie Forrester managed to size up the Lauren character over the whole Eric mess.
