Yeah, I also have a hard time staying interested in the Nina/Ryan/Cole/Victoria quadrangle. The fact that it dragged on for a decade is really what's crazy. I did find Tricia gettinng into the mix to be interesting though.

That's Jill's mother Elizabeth. She worked on and off for Kay for about a decade

In a way it worked because Tom had easy chemistry with both Reeves and Peck, and both Tom and Cast were fierce as playing bitter, jealous rivals. But it definitely dragged on, and there was some unnecessary moments like Nina’s miscarriage, and strange plots like the the Jeri lady who was obsessed with Cole, the mysterious psychic, and missed opportunities like a Ryan/Jill one night stand to throw into the mix. The original story was great but by 1997 it was really grasping at straws and of course went in the direction of Tricia and Ashley.
