Good to see your posts again boldrestless! :) and I know I said this a lot already but keep up the good work Y&R21395!!

I still have some new July 1991 dates I haven't posted yet coming....I hope there will be more stuff to get soon though.....I was thinking I should start looking into getting some episodes from 1988 since there really hasn't been a lot from that year posted.

I've read that Eve's final exit in 1984 was her leaving town with Rick Daros giving them both a strange but happy ending as the fled town together after stealing money from Victor not sure how correct that is. Of course what I do wonder is I know Cole was shown in the early 80s was it written he could be possibly be Victor's son?

Thanks for those late '90 episodes, the 1990 Xmas one was indeed reaired in 2000(Y&R's Christmas Classics usually ran 10 years apart there 1996-2002).

That's interesting.....I didn't know they were connected after all......I know it's terrible to say but good for them for being able to steal some of Victor's money.....

I wish we still knew why they sort of re-wrote Eve's 93 return when Cole came on, particularly erasing any memory Nikki had of her.......and sort of treating her like she was someone from Victor's past that was offscreen........

Glad you enjoyed the episodes! :) I didn't know they showed one in 1996 though? I thought it was just 1987-1992?

It's too bad they stopped doing it after 2002.....at least the 10 years way, cause we probably should have seen Xmas 1993, 1994 etc......I guess it;s good they showed 1995, and later another 1989 that was different then the one they showed in 1999.

Not a problem, and thank you too once again, I'm glad to see more of 1991. From what I've seen, it's a pretty damn good year for Y&R, the Masquerade Ball being my favourite episodes. And I do love my soap psychos, so I'm being spoiled rotten with David and Sheila :D

    • So Cat wasn't a creation of Ron C.. but something that the strike writers generated? Perhaps the new writers will give her some layers and purpose on the show that doesn't revolve around Chad since isn't he on his way out next year?
    • Another good show today, but -- Why is super agent Joss holding that thumb drive in plain sight instead of stashing it in her denim shorts? Make it make sense. -- Dante going after Gio (in the previews) for Rocco's alcohol poisoning is lame and cliche, just a contrived way to drive a wedge between father and son.
    • Didn't he get all angry because the strike writers set her up to be Abigail? And he just went with the first thing that came to mind in order to prevent that?

    • That was an incredible interview.  I cannot imagine it ever happening with a performer currently on a soap.  I remember being extremely disappointed in Michael Malone.  I wish we had all of the backstage scoop on where things went wrong with him.
    • Go 'head, Brandon!! I was worried about this meltdown, but he's giving a pretty good meltdown. Knowing when to do it and just the right moment to pull back a bit.    These Kat vs Eva scenes. The best soap rivalry has the rivals have some empathy for the others though they dislike each other. And they are giving.    Yay! A brief SilkPress vs Dani moment.
    • Yabbut didn't you hear Lulu nail Carly?!!! And, Carly, instantly owned that she had. Between Tracy & Lois early on & then Lulu & Carly later & the added dash of Lulu & Dante carried over from yesterday, GH today was Dialog City!!! Plus, as we predicted Rocco in hospital, health scare while Danny & Gio & Cody are caring & practical, etc.
    • Anita should have saved the mother speech considering the dismal job she did raising Dani... but compared to Silk Press Sheila, I guess she would be mother of the year. For me, I would preferred longer scenes of Nicole/Ted, Smitty/Martin, & Eva/Kat... and not done the whole Dupree Mafia scenes.  The only Dupree I only really care about is Nicole... and having their reactions diluted from Nicole finally being center stage. Unpopular opinion:  Anita singing was kinda cheesy and cringe LOL
    • Highlights today Anita Eva Kat Nicole Martin tried but fell felt If these past few shows were why they recast Ted, I get it
    • Lois and Tracy were Great Lulu should listen to Carly
