The promo is great. I am not a Superman fan so I am not sure that I am going to see this though. However, Henry Cavill is pretty hot so that is tempting.

I really don't get the true consequences of Jordan's crash for the other driver. Everyone said she was at fault in the crash. Sure, someone may or may not have stopped to help so it would be reckless driving, but we are adding a lot of what ifs to it all. Like would Jordan be less burned if BLQ stopped to help in her prairie uniform and had to pull Jordan out of a car with Curtis?
I am with @Vee. The last thing GH needs is another freaking baby story.

Great topic, @titan1978! I talked about it a a week-and-a-half ago, but watching the reveal that Lucy Coe wasn't actually a spinster in context was surprisingly eye-opening. As an individual scene, it's iconic and fun to watch, which is probably why it remains popular all these years later. It helps that Lucy's technically the only one in the scene, so it can be watched on its own. In the context of Laurelton and the episode it aired in 1986, though, the scene is another attempt at teasing, even when it's fairly obvious who Lucy is meeting.

There are several interesting and confusing things about this promo. First, Rachel and Mac were already a couple by this point, and they might have already been married. So why does the promo feature Rachel and Steve? The Alice/Steve/Rachel triangle had been over for months. And who are the brothers mentioned in the promo? I believe the only two brothers on the entire show at this time were Steve and Willis. But Rachel had moved on from Steve at this point, and she was NEVER involved with Willis. This entire ad sends some weird messages. I wonder who wrote it...

I feel similar. I think Doug 3 was supposed to be another cog in the Holly/Tate angst wheel, but when the actor was dumped Sophia had to basically take all the villain angle on, so she did everything instead. I assume the original thought was for everything to be slightly more balanced.

BTG: May 2026 Discussion Thread

First Dani and then Kat hooking into the Lynette story, then into Lia was the most excited I've been about this show in quite awhile. Kat should've been on the hunt weeks ago. She's always been very good in the socialite detective role. But bringing Dani, Nicole, etc. more into these islanded stories is important. Lynette is a route to Lia and the Impaler, but having them more involved with the trail to Hayley would be genuinely good stuff if only the show continues it (big if).
I'm glad I was right that Joey is never going to let the Martin/Kenny cover-up go. Sooner or later that will come out, and it's likely that will ultimately lead to how he will end up dead.
