@P.J. I thought you might enjoy seeing this old promo. Hilariously, the announcer calls Carly "Carrie."

Simply love those old promo's. Carrie🤣 The only saving grace in that story was Maura West as Carrie. I mean Carly.

I'm amazed CBS or P&G allowed that promo to air with the error intact.  Just shows to go that both parties had checked out of soaps (or, at least, out of ATWT) long before they finally pulled the proverbial trigger.

It wasn't just ATWT. I recall a scene from Guiding Light in 1998 that featured Michelle Bauer at a school for the blind. From the way the scene was taped, viewers could clearly see the wood on the opposite side of the set. I was stunned that CBS let that air rather than re-taping the scene.

Got a hankering to watch an episode of Capitol and came across this AT&T commercial with William LeMassena and realized that I remember this commercial distinctly, was very fond of when I was a child but during that time, never made the connection with Ambrose Bingham (in my defense I was just a kid).  I know that LeMassena was the second Ambrose but I believe he was already in the role when this commercial aired.  Anyway, this commercial always exuded such warmth to me.

I keep expecting Lucinda to rush in the room.."AMBROSE!"

Wow, Marj on Capitol, not screeching or stuttering! RIP Marj!

@DRW50, Carl, would you please repost the cast photo from the late 1970s where they are in the astroturfed backyard? Thank you!!!!!

I've lost some things - could you remind me what date I uploaded the photos? Sorry.

Great work. My Photobucket is full so I couldn't put them on there again...I'm glad you were able to make them so presentable.

Even after all these years of seeing it I still wish they'd had more of a full cast shot.

Who cast this friend of Denise starting at 2:20.  I'm howling. Charity Rahmer who? This girl is kind of iconic.
