Members All My Shadows
Same. It's not like this is cyberbullying where the crazy bitch is deadset on terrorizing everyone here and has multiple means to do so. Just scroll on by every time she posts or put the ho on ignore. It ain't that hard, y'all. Edited October 28, 2019 by All My Shadows
Members DRW50
A lot of people tend to enjoy these games - it's one of many reasons it's hard to come here now. Anyway, I tried to find some of the episodes you wanted. Unfortunately the episodes she appeared in (August 15-19, October 7) are not online.
Members Brolden
These dates have been taken from Abigail's profile on Soapcentral, which is known to contain many mistakes in its profiles. Since the episodes are sadly not online, I have not been able to verify this personally. There's one more appearance on October 7 (as DRW50 pointed out), but that episode is unfortunately also still missing. I know this won't satisfy the desire to see ER as Abigail, but Soapcentral does have recaps online for all of those episodes, which would at least give you an idea of the context in which the character appeared. This is the funniest thing I've read all week. Please register in order to view this content Edited October 28, 2019 by Brolden
Members DRW50
Not that it is going to be very interesting but I also remember Soap Opera Weekly commenting at the time on some oddly filmed scene of Abigail throwing jelly beans in the air in slow motion, or something along those lines.
Members DramatistDreamer
Thanks for trying, @DRW50 I appreciate this. It's so bizarre because she didn't appear in the 1970s, it's the late 90s so I figured those episodes would've been uploaded somewhere. Geez. I really wish bandstandmike was a ATWT fan too because he seems to have all of the 90s and between he and others on YT, Guiding Light seems covered from the '80s onward! Hey, if you don't laugh, you cry, at this point.
Members Khan
Perhaps, Emmy Rossum appearing on ATWT is one of the internet-age urban myths that even Emmy herself has bought into.
Members John
No she did but I only remember it being an episode
Members amybrickwallace
I've seen her listed in SOD's Comings and Goings in a 1998 issue, but of course I can't find the issue. Members DramatistDreamer
With the lack of episodes throughout the years posted online for some of the show's biggest storylines, the same could probably be said of many of ATWT's episodes.
Members John
Did ATWT age Abigail when Kristina Sisco was cast???
Members DramatistDreamer
Since P&G couldn't care less at this point (did they ever?), our only hope seems to be that more actors like Patricia Bruder Debrovner and Margaret Reed upload episodes and reels from their work on the show.
Members DRW50
By a few years, yes.
Members DramatistDreamer
Sisco is about four years older than Rossum, which doesn't seem like it would make a difference but if you look at the ages they were at the time the character entered the canvas- Rossum was eleven and Sisco supposedly came on two years later in '99 as a full-fledged, ready-to-date teenager, it looks like a big leap in age. Because the character disappeared for two years, the audience probably didn't really notice. Soap audiences tend to be inured to big leaps in age. This one would of been one of the relative minor ones compared to the drastic way in which they aged other characters. Members DRW50
The irony is because of the noticeable age difference between Abigail and the actor who played Chris, many ended up seeing her as too young.
Members DramatistDreamer
ATWT ended up SORASing itself to death (literally) in that last decade. Many of the ages of the teens and twenty-somethings were all over the place and made little sense in the context of what we'd seen in the previous decade.
