AMC: Daniel Cosgrove Retruns

Lazy lazy lazy. Cosgrove was boring as hell the last time around. I guess they could try to give him some comedy (hopefully funnier than the crap RPG ad libs) but it seemed forced when he tried to do it on ATWT. I have only seen Cosgrove work in one soap role -- Bill Lewis.

At least this means someone more interesting might get cast as Joey Buchanan...

Word!! Cosgrove is a boring as hell actor. He is a coma sleep inducing actor.

I didn't have a strong opinion on Mayfield but if they are firing people based on not being believable leading men then I wish RPG or Cameron Mathison could go...

From your keyboard to Gd's ears. Why not fire both? RPG wasn't bad when he first came on but has gotten increasingly nauseating with each episode. CM hasn't been worth squat since the Gillian days.

Boring. From what I saw, the other guy was just fine. Hiring Cosgrove is so typical of TV where they go to the same actors or writers again and again and again, probably because they have experience and are known to be reliable and competent. This is like in primetime how despite never having a success Eddie Cibrian gets cast again and again. I guess it makes it easier for the producers to have someone you know will come in and do the job, but it is pretty boring. And on soaps it gets especially so when the same actors hop from show to show.

Who cares.... and Daniel Cosgrove is starting to look his age (40 at the end of the year)..... isn't Scott in the current state of things supposed to be very close in age to J.R? Even though by rights Scott should be about 10 years older in which case Scott's age wouldn't be a bad thing?

Scott should be Ryan, Greenlee and Kendall's age. Im glad he's back to where he should be as opposed to the deSORASing, they've kept doing

But does Scott have to be a "hunk"? I don't think so, I mean, I know this is a soap and everything. Shane McDermott's Scott was certainly not a hunk (which was kind of surprising to me as he played a "heartthrob" opposite SMG on Swans Crossing). But if they're looking for a Scott that'll *pop* they should have gone with frenetic energy Forbes (which I would have  to as well, for the record).

Forbes was DIRE as Scott, but I admit he's improved a lot as an actor since then (and it sounds like--I haven't watched Cosgrove since much--Cosgrove has gotten more dull...)

Cosgrove was decent on GL, sometimes pretty good. On ATWT he was on autopilot and it seemed like a variation of Bill Lewis. Now I just wonder if it will happen again.

He did a great job on GL and was very interesting both runs. I thought he was a dud on ATWT, but the role was very bland so I can't blame him for that. Even Terri Columbino lost her spark (and several othhers) because the material wasn't there.

is there nobody out there who thought Adam Mayfield was ok? I thought he did a pretty decent job and saw no reason why he should be recast. There was something rather Paul Michael Valley about him.

I thought Adam Mayfied was very good and excellent casting for David Canary. His work with Jennifer Bassey's mourning widow Marian was excellent.

Daniel Cosgrove is a show killer, 90210, GL, ATWT...all three casted him in their dying years...AMC will be done by 2013 mark my words.

ATWT was already out the door before he joined in its final year. I am not going to put that on him.

I will would be totally upset if Scott was stuart's bio son because Adam Mayfield favor David a lot, which that doesn't matter. I hope he find something hopefully DAYS, Y&R, or GH will snatch him up.

I want Alexa Havins to be the Marissa recast... that happens, and the whole s/l blows up into some serious daytime drama!!

ABC started selling pics of Babe (AH) and Krystal on their website. This is part of the 40th Anniversary pics that are available. I think we might see AH soon.
