I can sort of see the need for new blood. At the same time, I'm not sure I want it! I love this crazy, march-to-the-beat-of-my-own-drum group. Ramona is acting like she's practically FOH these days, but Luann will be devastated. I'm not sure why Tinsley is safe, or indeed the miserable B.

New blood is fine, but if they're anything like Teddi or Dorit... no thanks.

I don't see why Luann or Ramona would be on the chopping block unless they are trying a new angle for RHONY altogether. But we saw what happened in season 5 when they uprooted half the cast. LuAnn and Ramona are the two that have been there since day one without ever leaving and they still provide fun, fresh material.

To me the RHONY as it's mainly been since season 7 is nowhere near the tired played out dreck that became of New Jersey by season 5 with three years in a row of Caroline-Jacqueline-Teresa-Melissa-Kathy.

If true, that's a crying shame. I'll wait till Bravo or LVP confirms but I wonder if Bravo will tweet the reunion seating plan. LVP is a big draw.

If true, I wonder if she intended to go but this latest lawsuit made her rethink her plan. She seemed to be implying that this season was an anomaly in terms of her participation.

I feel a bit sad, it's an end of an era for BH.

I doubt Barbara has been upgraded to HW. The show didn't seem interested in showcasing her any more than necessary.

Saw another report with quotes from Lisa that she’s done.

I’m not surprised in the least though. I also don’t think I’ll be watching next season as the only person I like on the show now is Camille, and I have zero interest in seeing her ganged up on as has already begun.

I really just hate that this means Rinna and Kyle finally got what they wanted.

Good for her!

I know Bravo is scrambling right now. They literally cannot have a reunion with LVP and Camille (who isn't attending either).

What are they gonna do? Sit there and bash LVP, who the whole season was about, for 13 hours? Doubt it.

They might as well wrap this bum ass season up, and do an unseen clip show after the finale.

Once again, the Queen is playing chess while the others play checkers.

And watch them still retool the cast (a la NY season 5) without LVP.

You know Rinna & Kyle are somewhere fuming right now.

Pretty boring episode. Brandi has ruined her face and is still not over her Vanderpump obsession.

The ladies are so disappointed they don’t get to gang up on Camille because her house is about to burn down.

Lisa Rinna’s daughter is AWFUL. Harry seems completely over his entire family including his wife.

Re Ramona and Lu potentially getting the axe: if that happens, I can confidently say that RHONY has jumped the shark. Ramona and Lu give endless entertainment while Kyle Richards does the splits. And they’re the ones who face being fired? Bravo is the new ABC Daytime under Brian Frons as the vets get canned.

Re LVP and the reunion: good for her. If she’s ballsy enough to be truly done then why endure the other women’s crap?

    • Garrett's Holly seems so different in her return stint than what I've seen of her original work as Holly, but that may just be down to Holly later having a sheen over her neuroses. I know some have said Deerfield's Holly was even more neurotic.  I remember the story Garrett told of how Deerfield would show up and watch her for a while after she took over the role. Deerfield supposedly did not want to leave GL and only did so because of her husband.  I think Tim left with some woman named Pam. Another we will likely never see. That whole period seems like a big transition before the Dobsons lock in on core characters. Robin returning as Hope could have been interesting. I wonder if she was already typecast as a bitch by this point, thanks to GH.  Thanks for transcribing the interview. I've seen a few of theirs but haven't watched in full. I guess this could have worked if they had claimed what they seemed to be setting up at the end of the story - that he had had a complete breakdown due to being abused as a child. I'm not saying it was the best idea but it certainly wasn't any worse than anything else on GL at that point.  Still, I think even if it hurt his career, he made the right decision for himself. He's still around, he looks healthy. And he has a great story people can remember him by.

    • Thanks. Appreciate that. P.S. I'm praying for a Summer of Gio.
    • Great episode today. Strong follow-up from yesterday, and a lot of really good dialogue. -- Lots of comments here about Vernon being the Olivia Pope of BTG, but I'll let you know when that happens. He and the family "move into action" after a scandal, but they've yet to really accomplish anything. Vernon couldn't even clear the room of everyone but family when he tried. -- Wardrobe did a great job overall. Anita wins Worst Dressed. That gown did not flatter TT and that gigantic necklace was bad. -- Sean Freeman did great work as Andre in Andre's scene with Eva. -- Brandon Claybon was great as Martin in his most dramatic scenes. I don't know how anyone can avoid seeing how much he's improved. -- There's way too much criticism here of Maurice Johnson's performance as Ted. If we didn't know he was replaced, I don't think we'd see this "He's not giving enough" stuff. My feeling is that this is all confirmation bias. I think the guy's done a nice job. Ted didn't whine for pity and he didn't scream like he's a victim. He's spent decades hiding this, and I think it's fair that he feels blindsided and unable to respond. -- I don't want to hear Vanessa lecture and moralize about any other character when she's so compromised. She's a cheater and a ho. -- It would have made more sense for Vanessa and Doug to be at the party. The hospital visit was weird, and seemed like an excuse for the scene where we (again) realized that Doug knows his wife is a cheater. -- I love this board, but damn, do people give away Emmys around here like gummy bears. -- I wish I knew what Leslie's end game is. Is it enough to destroy Ted's marriage to Nicole? Does she really think she can win Ted back? Or is she just so batsht crazy that it's impossible to know what she wants?
    • Thanks @kalbir for sorting that all out! I feel bad Jane’s return in “The Return” ranked lowest as did the finale…although of course by then the show was in a dead slot on Thursdays.  The Avenging Angel aired without Dallas in front of it and still ranked #12  (same week Knots finale went to #1 the night before). The earthquake finale which aired on a Thursday night fared better year later I believe.    We talked about the show’s syndication misses and SOD took notice with this 1997 article: FALCON CREST: Time to Uncork a Classic Soap Opera Digest, November 11, 1997 KNOTS LANDING, DYNASTY and DALLAS have all become a familiar fixture on the cable-TV landscape. But one soap is missing. We think it's time for FALCON CREST (which was bought for syndication by TBS in 1986) to be dug out of mothballs and put back on the air. Although overshadowed by it's megahit lead-in, DALLAS, FALCON CREST consistently delivered first-rate entertainment. The stars: Jane Wyman as sour grapes queen Angela, Susan Sullivan as long-suffering Maggie and David Selby as black sheep Richard, provided a strong back-bone. They were supported by a wide assortment of celeb guests: Gina Lollobrigida, Lana Tumer, Morgan Fairchild and even Apollonia visited the winery. The plots were fun and often outrageous: tires, explosions, shootings, plañe crashes, eqrthquakes, ¡Ilegitímate kids who became priests, legitímate offspring who joined convents ... not to mention Melissa, the slumming socialite with a lounge act. Plus, FALCON CREST had a wicked sense of humor that surfaced in acerbic dialogue. So let's get this vintage drama back on the air where it belongs. The wine has aged long enough.
    • Jason, thank you so much & I was just speaking of you earlier. I was saying we need to throw a cyber  party with some special invited guests. You were one of them! Not because you are brilliant, even though you are, but because you are kind. And we appreciate you, really we do.

    • I'm not counting on Drew AT ALL. But, I don't think he will think of Nina & I KNOW he would never think of NIna & Carly in league against  him. Just goes to show how out of touch he really is and he really  is. i'm not so sure unless you mean Tracy tearing Lois another orifice. Talk about furious, we are really going to get to witness the impending storm. I may even feel for Lois .... No, I won't. But it was anice thought for a moment. I cannot seem to spare any sympathy for Willow, Drew, Lois, Brook Lynn, Chase, what a list, huh?
