I wouldn't bet on Claudia being back next year. The contract she signed recently for Bravo was in order to be paid for THIS season. As we know, she was brought on as a friend, and eventually promoted. She didn't sign the official contract, however, until recently. And considering she signed that before the reunion was filmed, it definitely didn't include anything about next season.

There is a currently a lesbian couple in talks to join NJ Season 7.

Tobi Petrocelli and Rose De Jesus

And speaking of NJ this woman is rumored to be joining. Her husband is fine as hell and he has an equally fine twin brother!

I'm glad they're ditching the Italian thing. It's so old and dated. Caroline, Jacqueline, Teresa, and them are stale. We need some new [!@#$%^&*] and the twins and Amber were FLOPS.

Oh, I'm intrigued by both of those couples. It would be interesting to have a same-sex couple where both were Housewives. It would be a whole different dynamic from what we usual see between Housewives and their spouses.

Thanks, Eric!

Claudia doesn't bore me. I think that she came off boring because she was a late addition and they had to scrape and scurry up footage for her to have an arc this season. I can see her bringing a lot in the future. I actually think that she brought a lot during the Manila trip. Especially her one on one with Phaedra and her pushing for Kenya and Phaedra to reconcile.

She'll be back. Again, Carlos King loves her. Plus, the highest rated episode this season was centered around she, Cynthia, and Kenya. She ain't going nowhere.

Now onto RHONJ:

I am glad they are ditching the Italian aspect of the show too, but IMO, this show is dead in the water. Melissa can't carry this show at all. Only way I see some people tuning back in is if they had started when Teresa got out and they also brought back Danielle.

Teresa, Danielle, Melissa, and 4-5 new housewives could possibly rejuvenate this show.

And I liked Amber. I think she should be given a second chance. Yes, her husband is a mess but Amber was an OK find. Now I can do without the twins. They were just too much.

Bring back Miami and DC!

Exactly. Jim needs to stay. But the only thing I need for him and Amber to turn down is their thirst level. It can be a little too high at times, but when they are authentic [like the barn photo shoot scene], they excel.

But I have this feeling that Andy didn't care for any of the new housewives this past season. You could read it in his energy at the reunion.

Possibly. IMO, they should've rebooted Miami and DC in the meantime. But I guess the Ladies of London and Married to Medicine spinoffs will fulfill New Jersey's spot.

Miami and DC failed for Bravo's expectations and I think Bravo was very, very hesitant to kill either one because it damaged the RH brand. But they tried to retool Miami, and it still didn't work for them.

Bravo should buy the rights to RHOV and air the two seasons as a single one in place of NJ until Teresa is out of the slammer.

Miami did well season two. Bravo f-cked it up by retooling the cast again for season 3. All they had to do was reinsert Alexia and make the cast a strong 8 for season 3. And with all the fallen Basketball Wives and thirsty, messy celeb exes living in Miami, the show could still make a bounce back if Bravo casts it correctly.

Fernanda was close to.being a housewife for season 6 of OC yet was dropped.at the last second to a friend of status.

And I'm all for unmarried women being on the show...but I think.being single and having no kids kind of defeats the purpose of the shows being about all aspects of their lives.

Brandi on rhobh should just be a friend. We cant see her as a mom, her pod cast and book.thing really didn't excite nor did her scenes with her parents. At best, she's friend material..not diamond holding material.

Same with Carole on new York. All she seems to be featured doing is playing a kooky writer with writers block and chasing younger men...same with Sonja.

And Jo was unmarried when OC started...but she was the only one...and was engaged when on the show.

Though I like the promising new casting for NJ...

    • I kinda think that's the point, Leslie isn't logical; she is very unhinged. She's probably mad at Eva turning on her in front of the Duprees. They need each other but I do want to see Eva form a family unit away from Leslie.
    • IDA. I felt this was his best episode and the actor sold it for me especially bc Martin has been so stoic and not very expressive with his emotions. The actor's weakness actually became a strength here bc I felt he really came alive and I bought his rage towards Leslie and later and later vulnerability he exposed to Smitty. He's growing and while I had reservations at first, I think they should keep him. He's done well with this reveal
    • The soapy convention that amused me today was the amount of stuff that soap characters get done on their way to work. I drink a glass of iced coffee, take a handful of pills, and I am out the door.  Marlena got on a full beat of makeup, and her Monday blazer.  Then she visited with Johnny at the Salem Inn, EJ at the mansion, and checked in with Cat, all before reading her emails.  It is just remarkable how much people can do when they never have to go to the bathroom! Marlena's vibe with Cat was weird, considering she hired Cat as an assistant.  She seemed a little suss today. Meanwhile, with all of these new interactions, I want a scene between Chad and Marlena when they discuss blazers.  I think Chad's more unconstructed, knit jackets would suit Marlena (no pun intended).

MTV's Floribama Shore Kirk Medias is dead at 33 years old.
    • Of course, sexy silver fox Dr. Jeffrey Russell has to be in cahoots with EJ so that Kayla's morals don't look selfish and skewed when she is completely in the wrong in letting Steve accidentally on purpose look at the important hospital files. Anyone find it funny that a handful of characters slurred their words today?  I can't quite explain it, but sometimes, like today, I feel like Deidre Hall plays scenes too light or passive, for lack of a better word. She's definitely more known as a charismatic personality than powerhouse actress compared to her soap diva counterparts from other soaps, but I just wish she could give me more. I did, however, like that her scenes with EJ got a 'to be continued...' about Belle. Maybe then I'll see more of what I want from her. Have Shawn and Johnny literally ever had a scene together before today? If they start having Sarah in a scene where she connects with literally any other Horton, then I'll be really impressed.  I'm glad they went through the trouble of explaining why EJ bid on Cat. It made enough sense, and I laughed when Chad spit out his asking about it as soon as humanly possible.

Such a liar. Great episode but Martin needs to be recast. He hasn't improved. I didn't feel anything for him because of his acting and the writing. He has been so isolated from Ted and Nicole that he doesn't seem like their son, much less family. Leslie is pure evil. She wants Ted and the house and the riches that go with it. She doesn't care about Eva. I felt really bad for Eva.
    • I dont understand the motivation behind it. Eva is her link to Ted and the Duprees and without her, she has nothing. It would have served better for Eva to be all fed up with her and leave the house on her own and Leslie try to make amends bc she needs her for this comeup she's been talking about. Eva can repair her relationship with Ted and maybe build something with the Duprees and cut her out
    • So good today Dante is overreacting blaming gio Hopefully Danny will come clean
    • Not mad at Leslie Locking Eva out, I think it's important for the audience to see her on her own for a while. Curious how scrappy and savvy she becomes on her own. Yeah, I am with you there. It feels a bit hollow; maybe if she was talking to Martin and Kat I would feel better about it. There must be more to this story. Daphnee and Ambyr owned this episode. Tugging my heart in every scene. Nicole process hurt and anger much differently than Dani though.
