I love the exterior of Teresa's and the staircase leading upstairs. And the magnificence of that door and the main entrance/hallway.

God I love that house. I really hope they get to keep it. Also hope their family is staying strong during this crazy difficult period. It's so weird to imagine her in such a place.

+1 to everything, except I do understand why Paul didn't want to hear about Magali's sister, it was a dinner party, that's a downer story, I get what he was saying, he just wasn't elegant about it.

Dawn made an ass of herself when she made her storyline all about having a baby, which was just ludicrous.

I loved the show, it was great, ITV is on the fence about it because the ratings have been iffy, but it was fabulous and I don't even think the cast needs tweaking. The show was beautifully shot and perfectly cast.

BH reunion seating:

Yolanda, Eileen, Kim, Brandi, ANDY Kyle, Lisa V., Lisa R.

Decided to post only because I'm shocked to see Lisa V. got booted out of her seat next to Andy for Brandi (thank God). Also surprised at Eileen's placement.

Carry on.

Given that ratings still weren't very good even with two somewhat popular new housewives (compared to last season's newcomers), I'd think the show still wouldn't be pushing Brandi as their big star. I guess Andy just likes her that much.

I'd think the conflict between Kim and Kyle was more memorable to viewers than the Kyle/Brandi stuff, which often seemed like Brandi wanting attention, but then ratings would suggest people weren't that into any of the Kim or Kyle or Brandi drama.

This Kim and Kyle fight all stems over some house that Kim thinks Kyle 'stole' from her. Since this conflict has existed on and off since since season 1.. it is becoming like Bass Lake.. imho. I think Kim needs to go only because played out conflict can mar a show.. scripted or non scripted.

With that said, this past episode of RHOBH was kind of a recap and build up to next weeks finale.

Cheshire

It kicked off! Great episode.

LeAnn of course ran to Dawn about the casino. She's a dissappointment. I hated her but thought she was more interesting when she was a bitch. Ever since Magali read her, she's been quiet and boring

Ampika. I like her but I cant get over her relationship with Mark. She walks around him naked, yet she has a man? Im telling you, her man must be married bc she acts very disrespectful and its wrong the way she carries on with and leads on her ex

Paul is an a-hole. Never liked him. I wish Magali had read his ass but she was overcome with emotion. WTF did he bring up Dawn's baby quest? And then he asked her, her age? MESSY. He's like Peter. He was so rude and insensitive to attack Dawn. Lauren should have reigned him in

Lauren...BITCH! She had no right to go after Dawn's daughter in her home, when she should have been checking her rude husband. That couple was absolutely disgusting. I dont see how anyone can defend those two. Absolutely ugly.

Ampika revealed early on that her secret man isn't married. She just feels like a mistress b/c they keep their relationship secret. But she announced on Twitter earlier this season that she and her secret man broke up. I wouldn't be surprised if she is trying to rekindle things with Mark at this point b/c she always RTs my tweets about her Mark getting back together. I think the show put things in perspective for her. If there is a season two, I wouldn't be surprised to see if they are back together.

And leave my Lauren and Paul alone! I love their messy asses. Cynthia needs to study and emulate Lauren. That's how Cynthia should be. Lauren gives no f-cks and fears no one. But again, I didn't like how Paul was mean to Magali. But I do enjoy him digging into Dawn.

But I am going to miss these women. I hope there is a reunion but I doubt it is. I hope ITV picks the show back up. I seriously enjoyed this show. I want them all to return. Even dull ass, stupid ass Leanne. I just hope that they add one new wife though to stir things up for the new season.

    • You're probably right. They may have just wanted edits of certain characters. Hopefully the rest is around.

I'm wondering if there were bits cut from this footage, because to me it seems that may be the case. At 11:23, Laurie tells her psychiatrist that the bar phoned and told her Mark got into a fight and needs to be picked up. It starts to fade to the next scene, you hear some different music begin and get cut off between the static, and where you'd expect to see the aftermath of the fight, we cut back to a later scene of Laurie in bed worrying about what's happening. The credits at the end also show that more than Mark, Laurie and Dr. Northcote should have been in this episode. Another character, Brody, played by Ed Setrakian, is mentioned but not shown. If this is the case, perhaps the original fan who saved this episode has the additional scenes.
    • Anyway… It’s a shame that the video that depicted Leticia’s death was removed from YT.

    • Ms. Phelps holds a BFA in directing from Carnegie Mellon University, awarded in 1972. At a time when women were underrepresented in directing programs, she was one of the few women in her graduating class. To suggest that she possessed no further talents than completely changing the style of music used on soaps seems like a vast underestimate when one reads her online biography through an objective lens. I guess that I should be more clever than to constantly blame misogyny for these misguided interpretations of her management style.  But, I'll never comprehend why fans unquestionably align their opinions even years after fact. Post-modernism, and the ability to reinterpret context through the study of history, seems to elude this conversation.

    • This is 100% correct.  It was even on the nightly news where the US Government would not let the cast and crew travel to Egypt because it was deemed not safe.  The Achille Lauro hijacking took place on October 7, 1985, when the Italian ocean liner MS Achille Lauro was hijacked by four men representing the Palestine Liberation Front off the coast of Egypt, as she was sailing from Alexandria to Ashdod, Israel. The location shoot was probably scheduled to be filmed in mid-October to air throughout November with a two week tape to air date.  Remember on the show they did some in studio scenes doubling for Egypt before shifting the action to Arizona.  It was an awkward end to a truly bizarre storyline.

New episode from late 1973 or early 1974!
    • Coronation Street had a very good story where one of the characters befriended a man who she later learned had been involved in her husband's death - when told right it can be very powerful (not like AMC trying to make it a romance). ATWT almost had a big fire in mid-1994, so this seemed to be a "thing" with P&G at the time. I guess it fits the disaster backstage atmosphere.
    •   @jmgaw did not refer to Luke and Laura. Throughout 78 GH's ratings continued to rise as AW's fell. That turnaround was getting a lot of attention in the soap press with Scotty/Laura, Rick/Leslie/Monica etc . So the 90 min decision was a reaction to that. I guess the thinking was that 60 min expansion had worked so starting AW a half hour before might keep viewers from switching to GH at 3pm. I don't think anybody really thought it would work. The most sensible solution would have been to expand The Doctors and hope for a GH like turnaround, but for reasons unknown TD never went to an hour.
