This show is disgusting. I cannot believe they have Robin and Patrick helping Jason knowing full well he plans to kill Claudia. Are we all suppose to just say ok Claudia ordered a hit on Sonny so she's the bad one, and Jason can put a hit on Claudia and he is good.

I don't know why I am bothering to rant. This week the show just seems much worse than usual.

I totally and completely agree!!! If you are not a Frons pet you will not get story on his shows that's it period.

Re: the quad started out as revenge against Jason but he was pretty much MIA; I've rarely seen Jason in tris/quads He leads Frons' A-Team. Most women who come near him wind up under the bus...so

his involvement was quite minimal for the most part he waited like forever before he threatened his ex which did no good since she didn't pay attention to it and carried on her plan for revenge against his lover/son's mother using Lucky...it became more about Elizabeth being bullied into letting a woman who arranged guns to pulled on her and her children be around her kids because he was shagging her.

Jason's was off dealing with Mikey and the Russians in CarlyWorld where he usually dwells. He only stepped in to do his Captn' Save the Day thing twice. It was more like a tri with Elizabeth managing the brunt of it (and got thrown under solo)....they redeemed Lucky w/Sam after white-washing them and now this is where we are today with her getting a crappy storyline with Nik...

I think it could be a very good story its' very soapy but its not written well for me not only that but with repetitive and extremely weak dialog. Her reverting back to teenage behaviors doubting herself and reflecting a very low self esteem that I as an Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) fan cringe when I've watched which for the most part is quite unwatchable.

I wanted after ten years to see Jonathan and Becky together *at least in a love scene* especially after the horrid way Greg was treated and written as a cop in way too few "action scenes for the most part) he hasn't fired his gun as a cop in years. Action story lines/segments eg shoot-outs etc are for the designated pets.... I did see Dante/Johnny in a few shoot-outs but for the most part its only two "consistently."

I don't think Greg's Lucky was written well at all besides the drug storyline which (was excellent) they spent time afterwards redeeming him as the bestest dad in the whole wide world it would be Elizabeth who ultimately takes the hit. Now with JJ back whom its rumored Guza absolutely adores...and (will write for) supposedly Lucky will get the writing (I expected) as the son of an iconic super-couple. If you aren't on the short A-List you won't get written for and if you do it will not be with a positive focus so negative you don't want to watch your fav on the screen.

I think the way this Nik/Elizabeth thing is going I don't expect much for Jonathan & Becky...I don't think Frons wants them to re-capture their super-couple status...if he doesn't choose you to be the characters for this title then you won't get the writing to become it even if you are a fan favorite (grass-root) couple. So JJ's Lucky/Becky's Elizabeth won't regain their former status after this crappy storyline unfolds IMO which is something their fans of 10 years hoped for.

It could happen this is just my opinion I don't think it will he's walking into an extremely angsty storyline which should propel him out the door if they write Lucky true to form the way they did with Jonathan if my memory serves he was sanctimonious so he'll be done with her. I don't know how long he's staying on GH so I don't have much hope.

Jason and Sam reunited so it is very possible that Lucky and Liz will reunite eventually. But I do think that Guza will use this story to send Lucky in a different direction. It is the perfect way to get Lucky off the police force, get rid of the good family man label, and close to Luke again.

I'm a non-viewer, so I don't care...I can watch it from a dispassionate outsider view of someone who used to watch...who knows the players in those final scenes (Liz, Nicholas, Lucky, Luke, and [by phone, offscreen] Laura). It was a good classic triangle, and a nice end-of-episode tag on a highly promoted episode.

    • I like Margaret well enough in what I've seen of her as Paige - she is green but she has real star power.  I agree about the actor who plays Brian. He's...mostly just there. Not bad but not great.  My main issue is with the guy who plays Owen. He's just not appealing to me. I can believe Nola being obsessed with him, but he's draining to watch.  I'm surprised people objected to the quasi-incest elements as it wasn't anything that new for soaps.  Speaking of Kim, here's a rare episode of an anthology show she did called The Evil Touch.

    •   I get what you're both saying, and I think the show was lucky to have even made it that long, but I think they could have still maintained a certain audience - Second Chances did before the earthquake. CBS was an older network anyway. I think the premise of Knots was still usable, it was more the characters who were a problem - many of the older figures were played out. If the show had done a better job building up its younger cast instead of making so many poor choices in the late '80s and early '90s, they could have kept things going a little longer.
    • I wish I cared about the homeless lady as much as everyone else seems to. After the nothing burger that was the lawsuit, this just feels like another boring Naomi storyline at Orphy Genes since she has no office.
    • That's great to hear. Thanks. I wish that was more readily available.
    • Just learned that Clifton Davis wrote this song!  I had no idea.

    • I think even if Marland had wanted to write more for Sara/Adam, his hands would have been tied as Robert Milli was one of the actors dumped by P&G due to his age.  From the bits and pieces I've seen of that period, Sara does have a key role in the Carrie plot, and Marland briefly gave her son Tim a more important part. I'm not sure if they just gave up on Tim once Kevin Bacon left or if they never really cared. I did not even know for many years that there was an actor in the part after Kevin...and then not one, but two. The Spauldingfield video on Tim doesn't even show the last actor (Nigel Reed), which kind of says it all. Anyway, I do get the sense Marland has some use for Sara, or for Millette. It's only after he goes that she is dumped. Of course he didn't ever hire her for his other shows, so maybe I'm wrong. (then again he never hired Geraldine Court either and he seemed very fond of her) Ann is an odd character to me as she is a proto-Lillian in being defined by pining for a Bauer brother and being involved in the death of one of their wives. I do wonder what else they could have done with her. She was friends with Diane, wasn't she? They could have had Diane manipulate her against Mike, I suppose.
    • Yassss....come on Maurice and Brandon...give us nothing!!! Wow, their need to develop their craft shone like a blinding light this episode. Brandon in his Martin and Smitty scenes sounded like he was reading and the facial expressions were giving Disney Channel. He did much better against Maurice in the Martin v Ted scenes. Now, Teddd-dyy (Dana's voice) was just flat. I watched the episode just now after reading the comment on here that Maurice needs to stop swaying, and now I can't unsee it. Has it really been this bad all along?  Ambyr carries. I don't need to say anymore. I am kind of excited to see this Kat/Tomas/Eva stuff play out.  Bill is such a dick to Dani. Like that's the mother of your children that you cheated on with your daughter's best friend but you look to take those low blows. Lord! When he said that thing about it being obvious he didn't care about Dani anymore since he was the one that walked out...that was cold. I even felt for Dani. Bill definitely is all over the spectrum. You can see a villain possibly surfacing, but you also see this great father. The elder Duprees move a little funny. I'm wondering what that is all about. Are they just overly protective matriarch and patriarch because they think it's what's best for their family, or are they afraid their secrets will come out or there's something more sinister there. Why would Vernon want to keep that information from Martin?  I hope something interesting comes out of this June stuff, but as of right now, I'm not too invested. It's not helping my interest on Naomi or Jacob either. However, tge actress playing Naomi has comes a long way from day one.
