I liked the story this week. I wish more of the focus was on Patty and not Colleen, but since Colleen's dying, I guess they had to make it about her. Today got real good when Victor showed up and basically confessed to "creating" Mary Jane. i definitely don't think they are done with Patty at all. in fact, the way they've had Traci, Paul and others talk about her lately they've pretty much confirmed that Patty has a much uglier back-story than first known.

The trailer was set up to be more of a confrontation between Victor, Jack and Patty - I hope Monday's ep gives us more of that tension. I really didn't need Lily to be part of this - cause Lily worrying about Colleen isn't tense, and CK is boring to watch.

And can I ask my biggest question of the week ---- WHERE THE HELL IS HEATHER?????? I really liked when they had Heather, Paul and Patty all together in the church.

Otherwise, stellar looks, great acting - cept CK and unfortunately TS. I think some of the reasons why these shows are not having the emotional effect intended is that CK and TS just aren't fun or interesting to watch. I at least cared about Brad, cause I knew him and liked him, but this Colleen-death just leaves me cold. She's got great hair though.

Victor's going to be the fall guy for all of this and Patty will come back being the victim.

It's a little late to make Patty the victim, after all she has done, although they probably know most viewers don't really care about Colleen, or Summer, so they may not want to see her pay. Something tells me Victor and Patty will both get out of this scot free.

I have to admit PASSIONS was really great this week! <_< It has been doing well for a few months now but the climaxing of the storyline was terrific!! Hopefully the ratings will get a temporary jolt from all this...and we shall see how viewers react after they have seen what has happened.

And that sucks, and will probably happen with these writers.

I have no sympathy for Patty, I don't care how crazy she is. She needs to be sent to a nuthouse or to prison. She's indirectly responsible for Coleen's death, she killed Zapato, and caused a little girl brain damage. Why the hell should I care about her after this? This is a psychotic criminal, not a longterm character.

I don't care how Victor instigated all of this by bringing her back to town. Victor didn't force her to kill anyone or to try to hurt a little girl (even if things went further than she expected).

Victor NEVER pays, and the spoilers don't make me hopeful that he will.

Victor, Patty, and Jack are at least in part all responsible for Colleen's death. A mark against all of them. This is crap storytelling.

And you know what, they're trying to make it seem as if Victor brought Patty to town to kill Jack. This has NEVER been Jack and Victor's dynamic. But not like these hack writers care, they only mention something historical when it can be used to push their agenda.

    • @chrismlAbout Lisa, agree to disagree. Actually at the time she was the only thing my partner & I disagreed about. Naturally she was Team Vicky while I was steadfast as Team Lisa.  About John & twin paternity, I think that like the 3 pillows was a transitory idea someone had that no one else agreed with. More of the attempt to accommodate Philece. About MJ, co-sign, 100% agree, if there were more degrees I would claim them. About Wally & Felicia, always a fan. Mitch? Eh, take or leave. Although I do agree that WGE is a really striking man. Who have I left out? I don't know so that's all I got.

    • Dallas peaked early, IMO. Maybe not a fair statement as I’m still making my way through the first half of its run, but I think it’s hard to argue to point that S3 into S4 was its high point. Back to Knots. Wrapping up “And Never Brought to Mind.” Greg’s introduction kinda took me by surprise. I low-key dreaded his arrival bc I know he very quickly gets to the center of the show, but even though they wasted no time connecting him with Mac, Abby, Gary, and Karen, it still feels like a gradual intro. The juxtaposition of the ending of the Chip story with the heating up Abby’s plotting is quite symbolic of the changes the show was going through. I absolutely cannot imagine Kenny and Ginger having any part in any of this. Yall, the Gary/Val piano theme that they pull out from time to time is my FAVORITE. I find myself humming it constantly.
    • Bloodshed is inevitable now. It’s another reason I’m glad Black people aren’t getting involved in these protests. As awful as this is, I keep reminding myself that 54 percent of Latino men voted for Trump. These people were put in harm’s way by members of their own communities and sometimes even members of their own families. Too many people decided to touch the stove.
    • Maybe I'm still in denial, but nothing about Neighbours' ongoing social media output gives the vibe of a show that's ending. In today's 'Roundup' video, Alan Fletcher referenced that production finishes in five weeks, but in all the show's posts the cast are as jovial and lighthearted as ever. Remarkably so for people who are about to lose their jobs.    Perhaps they're just putting a brave face on things, and I know they approached the previous axing with a positive attitude. Maybe putting an upbeat face on things is a collective way of showing potential backers that there's still life in the show? Or is it possible that they already know the show has been saved, and we'll get an announcement next month when filming wraps and the show 'rests'?   Does any of that make sense?!
    • A very good week for male eye candy on GH. New Michael is beautiful, Curtis's arms looked great in that polo shirt, Cody looks even more handsome with his new haircut AND we got Marco in swim shorts rocking his lovely bod and chest fur.

    • Yeah when Jamey Giddens did breakdowns for DAYS, he would sometimes state in tweets that specific things were his idea that he had pitched to Ron.
    • I don't, since they've clearly incorporated them into Tomas' storyline, and I happen to like his tattoos, but his jackets not fitting doesn't mean they're trying to cover his tattoos. The clothing overall isn't the issue; it's the fit. And I expect(ed) more from Jeresa Featherstone and her team. Very disappointed. He's the only male, overall, whose costume irritates me.
    • "And OMG, watching the scenes of Roger's return in comparison...the quality in the writing really nosedived. The stupid mask." Very much agreed.  Having Roger hide behind a mask for weeks/months, with it culminating with him swinging in on a vine at Blake/Phillip's wedding....geez.  So juvenile. IMO, Guiding Light never did a good job reintroducing major characters, either from the dead or elsewhere.  Masked balls = awful.  Amish = awful. When Reva was brought back from the dead, she should've just showed up in Springfield as Reva, and informed everyone that she had been gone for years because she felt like it.  She had a four-year fling with some dude who ended up dumping her due to disloyalty. Josh would be pissed and declare that their love is not *always* but *sometimes* and he'd act accordingly.  Her kids would hate her.
    • Agreed. The Emmys next year are gonna be a pretty tough competition and I hope we get a Days sweep lol  Not only does Deidre deserve a nomination for these last few weeks, but I also think Paul Telfer, Raven Bowens, Carson Boatman, Dan Feuerriegel and Alison Sweeney have good chances as well.
