I'm glad Stephanie's murder hasn't surfaced. Even though she was played by LS at that point. I don't want to see it. Stephanie was a queen who deserved better.

Was that 1985 or 1986? I've seen Louise Shaffer's last airdate as both December 1985 and January 1986.

I think it was either late Jan early Feb 86. Right before the Henderson Flood.

Thank you. I knew it was before they changed the opening, and after Lisa Peluso left (I believe her last episode was Christmas 1985).

Just saw on Twitter that Alan is doing a SFT virtual reunion this time with 🥁

I remember they had wanted to do a Maree/Lisa chat as early as last fall. Hopefully everyone's connections hold up!

This is awesome.

The flood apparently started the week of Feb. 24-28. I would assume a character like Stephanie would have her murder be a Friday cliffhanger, so the options are Jan. 31, Feb. 7 or Feb. 14. Then again, because of the preemption due to the Challenger explosion, things might have been off by a day for a couple weeks.

I know for sure the new "Somewhere in the Night" opening was pushed back a week due to the Challenger preemptions, so that makes sense.

@Paul Raven Here are the articles on Mary. One stating she appears in 3 of the 5 shows per week and another from Sep 67 giving the episode count of the show and her episode count at that time

Thanks for that. I imagined she would have a 3 per week contract but probably worked more quite often.

During the Hursley years it seemed Jo went backburner and kept to 3 a week but was more of a talk to.

Mary wasn't happy about that but I could see the reasoning behind it-the show couldn't keep one character front and center forever.
