"All My Children is one of the most recognizable brands in television, and we are committed to continue telling and enhancing the stories of the residents of Pine Valley," said Brian Frons, president of the Daytime division of the Disney/ABC Television Group. "The move to Los Angeles enables both 'All My Children' and 'One Life to Live' to dramatically improve the series production models and achieve significant efficiencies while enhancing each show. We had to examine every option on the table to combat the current economic realities, and rising costs of production, and we are doing it in a way that makes each of our shows stronger."

Translation: AMC couldn't hack it.

Come on, man, this coming from someone who constantly hates on MAB? You can't tell other people to not do the same when you're doing it.

Thank You!! Stands and applauds.

But Agnes....you can still run over and visit the soap you seem to have forgotten about.

She is worried about hair & make-up? Seriously?!

Do you have any idea how many loyal, hardworking staffers on the New York soaps are employed in hair and makeup and in the crew? Of course she's worried about them.

Agnes Nixon is 82.

However, at this point, even if she were 25, I hardly think there's anything she can do to help both of her shows.

I know.

But I got her comment differently.

Good lord they rolled out Agnes for the press release. Is this is the only reason they keep re-upping her consultant deal. So she says what they tell her to and not what she really thinks?

Yep....seems that way.

Dear, dear God... Her show is bleeding to death, and I honestly am worried about the livelihood of the people who will lose their jobs because of this relocation, but... She should have thought about stuff more before writing anything.
