It's funny how twins like Adam/Stuart was my favorite soap convention as a kid. It is just so tired, lazy, unoriginal, uninteresting... not even a cool twist to it this go round. TPTB and the actors need to so some serious thinking before they kill off characters/quit a show. This whole "nothing is ever final on soaps" thing makes it practically impossible for me to seriously commit to any big event or revelation on a show. It's hard to invest when EVERYTHING gets rewritten these days.

Adam/Stuart are an example of identical twins done right on a soap. All the doubles GH has done over the last several years are just annoying and unnecessary. If they wanted to bring NL back, Helena should have been the answer. Not selling a child in a country where there is almost always a way to get help. It may not have been pretty, but there is always a way.

happened in 2002 - 2003. Georgie had a crush on Lucas while Lucas had a crush on Maxie. Another character, Kyle was also involved. Maxie eventually lost her virginity to Kyle in an internet webcam porno while Georgie finally got over her crush on Lucas and began seeing Dillon (thanks to Maxie staging a kiss with Lucas when Georgie was planning on sleeping with Lucas).

The teen scene was a bit of a disaster at this point so Guza changed direction, Kyle and Lucas left town (Lucas coming back as played by Ryan Carnes a year later) and Maxie's screentime reduced (she was still being played by Robyn Richards at this point) as Georgie and Dillon emerged as the main focus of the teen scene.

Yeah, I remember the Lucas/Georgie/Maxie triangle. I always thought it was a little unnecessary. It wasn't a major storyline but it happened. Loved when they brought in Dillon for Georgie. I think GQ got started when Georgie needed Dillon's helping making Maxie (and Lucas?) jealous. Georgie/Dillon, the good old days before Lulu came in and ruined them =D

Liz was right that the story about the sold twin was ludicrous. I was glad someone in that house expressed skepticism. Stupidity is a contagious disease in PC these days.
