Anyone else think this Jack/Mary Jane/Victor storyline is awfully similar to the Zach/Hannah/Adam storyline from AMC?

What happened? I recall Hannah working behind Zach's back for Adam. That's the only thing that it's similar to. The surgery doesn't fit. Also, I doubt these writers will ruin the storyline like they did on AMC.

Great episode today. GR was wonderful today. Jack/Sharon/Billy/Chloe under one roof is going to be fun. Jack/MJ/Victor is off to a good start - the next chapter of the Victor/Jack rivalry has begun.

Thank the Lord that the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament is going to start on tomorrow because I can't take anymore of Kate Valentine!

Y&R is ruining Billy Abbott by placing him in the same atmosphere as Kate Valentine. Billy Miller and Elizabeth Hendrickson have NO romantic chemistry whatsoever! Stevie Wonder can see it. EH, God love her she is not a heterosexual romantic lead actress. How can I go from loving her as Maggie Stone to blind hatred for Kate Valentine!!!??? They need to squash this storyline quickly before they loss all creditability in the Daytime World.

I believe that Chloe have enough chemistry with Billy to keep this storyline interesting. & Chloe I will always love because she gave us a break from Lame I mean Lane. & made Lily seem like the child playing grown up like she is.

I could care less about Lame, uh I mean Lane. They are as interesting as Rush Limbaugh! In my very humble opinion, there is not one nano of romantic chemistry between Kate Valentine and Billy.

'm still not too crazy with Rikaart's acting... I think the whole storyline, the whole idea of Kevin regressing like that, is amazing, but something is amiss for me.

I was actually looking forward to seeing this storyline unfold but it's really been rushed, IMO. Can someone please tell me why on earth no one has seen Kevin going into or coming out of the robberies wearing that big ass chipmunk head?

I don't know but I'm still not feeling Lily. So I really don't care that her & Billy aren't together. Actually I hope they never meet up with each other ever again. Just like she did the rest she'll drain the life force out of him. All her lovers have to carrying the load for her. & another thing all these guys except from Kevin had to live up to her saintness.

I think that EH and BM have a ton of chemistry together and they're extremely fun together. I am much more interested in them than I am Cane and Lily (Cane is becoming the ultimate jackass).

I see chemistry between EH and BM. EH isn't overtly sexual as Chloe, but Chloe is confident and vulnerable all at once which makes her compelling viewing for me. She never had an ounce of chemistry when she played Maggie. I didn't even believe for a second that Magge was a lesbian. Chloe and Billy work. It won't and shouldn't be easy for them to get together. I expect lots of problems before they figure things out.

will reunite (just not this Colleen, please); he needs more shower scenes or hot scenes period or else why keep him. He doesn't do that many shirtless scenes anymore or sex scenes for that matter.

You berate me for taking shots at AL and then you take a shot at TS in the very next sentence. Amazing.

So, moving on...

Maria Arena Bell and Paul Rauch did an interview with SOD. Maria says that the 36th anniversary episode will be a big one, in terms of one story coming to an end and others beginning. She said stories involving characters that haven't been on too much are coming up, she mentioned Daniel as one of those characters specifically. Also, someone from the past is returning for a "huge" story.

Rauch talks about his past in daytime, the wacky stories he did at OLTL and GL. He says the Y&R are the happiest bunch he's worked with. He also said he's yelled at some of the actors during rehearsals when they're not doing much.

Maria and Paul worked together on a soap titled "Coming of Age" for NBC, but it wasn't picked up. I've heard that Trent Jones was also involved with this project, as well as the Bell Dramatic Serial Company.

By the way, Rauch's quote confirms that rehearsal time is back at Y&R, something Latham took away. It has made a noticeable difference, I must say.
