Members marceline
No. People lie about the president all the time. It comes with the job.

Members DramatistDreamer
It also says that if Trump is being investigated, check another law enforcement entity because it didn't come from the executive branch. I wonder if INTERPOL has any domain in any alleged investigation since the Russians are involved?
Members Chris B
I love that Obama didn't respond himself, but had his spokesperson do it. That shows he just doesn't care about Trump. Not what he wanted I can assure you.

Members NothinButAttitude
Good. I am glad he's imploding. Trump seems like the type that when he implodes, he'll accidentally snitch on himself, which is what we need him to do.

Members DramatistDreamer
People knowledgeable of these matters seem to be saying that it would've been the FBI and/or the DOJ who would've opened an investigation on Trump and from what I've been reading today, there would've had to be a large amount of 'evidence' to support bringing forth an investigation. A few people have expressed that this investigation was old news, while others have said that it is big trouble for Trump. I myself am also wondering whether the Kremlin will reveal (i.e. 'leak) anything. It's well known that they are disenchanted with Trump at this time as the sanctions are still in place and for them, nothing has changed in terms of their financial fortunes or lack of ability to conduct business freely. Time will tell, I guess. Meanwhile Trump spends every weekend golfing at Mar-a-Lago. Members Vee
The Russia/Trump body count rises. ABC and Politico have plenty of WH leakers talking about Trump's rage spiral over Sessions and the scandal, and 'everyone thinking his presidency is screwed up.' Members Khan
Trump is REALLY caught between a rock and a hard place, isn't he? If he or his men lift the sanctions and so forth, they'll only confirm what many have been saying about TrumpCo.'s relationship with Russia. If they don't, then they run the risk of the Kremlin leaking potentially damaging intel as retaliation. Either way, the cloud of suspicion and guilt hangs over the administration for as long as they remain in the WH and beyond. I must say, Obama, you played this one well. It might not result in Trump being impeached or resigning (I think there's a good chance everyone AROUND Trump will fall before he falls himself) but as long as someone in the media keeps pursuing this story, everyday he's in that Oval Office will be pure hell.
Members Vee
The Kremlin's marching orders to Russian officials and the state TV/media service RT at the moment are allegedly to stop talking about Trump. Make of that what you will. Meanwhile: Sleazy Trump advisor/Russian/Wikileaks connection Roger Stone is losing it.
