People knowledgeable of these matters seem to be saying that it would've been the FBI and/or the DOJ who would've opened an investigation on Trump and from what I've been reading today, there would've had to be a large amount of 'evidence' to support bringing forth an investigation.

A few people have expressed that this investigation was old news, while others have said that it is big trouble for Trump.

I myself am also wondering whether the Kremlin will reveal (i.e. 'leak) anything. It's well known that they are disenchanted with Trump at this time as the sanctions are still in place and for them, nothing has changed in terms of their financial fortunes or lack of ability to conduct business freely.

Time will tell, I guess. Meanwhile Trump spends every weekend golfing at Mar-a-Lago.

Based on these Facebook posts, Dan Rather should really do vlogs or podcasting.

Trump is REALLY caught between a rock and a hard place, isn't he?  If he or his men lift the sanctions and so forth, they'll only confirm what many have been saying about TrumpCo.'s relationship with Russia.  If they don't, then they run the risk of the Kremlin leaking potentially damaging intel as retaliation.  Either way, the cloud of suspicion and guilt hangs over the administration for as long as they remain in the WH and beyond.

I must say, Obama, you played this one well.  It might not result in Trump being impeached or resigning (I think there's a good chance everyone AROUND Trump will fall before he falls himself) but as long as someone in the media keeps pursuing this story, everyday he's in that Oval Office will be pure hell.

The Kremlin's marching orders to Russian officials and the state TV/media service RT at the moment are allegedly to stop talking about Trump. Make of that what you will.

Meanwhile: Sleazy Trump advisor/Russian/Wikileaks connection Roger Stone is losing it.

    • Love this. And it would be part the show being meta again and a refreshing twist since the tale of a black family moving into a white neighborhood has been told, but the opposite...?

    • Really? But it was sooooo unrealistic. At least they found a legit reason for him to not run (SilkPress Sheila ain't no punk or joke...lol). Well tbf it sounded like he was joking. So I didn't think he was serious until yesterday. And I felt...THAT'S IT? So it's good he said it aloud to Doug's face so there was no way to mistake how the scene was played...which well I did. Seems so...simple?...given what's been at play with Doug and Vanessa.    +1. I agree.
    • I absolutely love the idea of Krista Allen being on the show. I wouldn't saddle her with Jen though. I'd create a brand new character for her. She could be a diva who lives Beyond The Gates and is gradually seen at the country club. Then I'd do a slow roll out where the Duprees don't like her and her family because she is part of the first white family that "infiltrated" Beyond The Gates. Then slowly...and I mean slowly...expand Krista's character's family as a rival to the Duprees as some have said the show should have. A younger son to mix it up with Chelsea/Kat, a daughter to maybe run for office against Martin. Krista Allen could easily be a great matriarch for a rival family.

    • They said Kate was on the board too.  I am confused if that's all new developments or we always knew that.  I really have no idea why Kate would be on the hospital board.

Then in a brilliant moment she invoked the words of Claire Labine, said by Rosalind Cash as Mary Mae Ward to Stone, near death, a now very famous quote: "Every moment of my life, whether filled with joy or with pain, has the potential for grace realized. Whether it's an opportunity to learn, or whether it's to make a connection, or whether it's to find love which you didn't think existed, these are gifts from god & to throw them back in his face is something unthinkable to me."
    • That would make sense; he is to DAYS as the Quartermaines are to GH, in terms of the hospital board. If only DAYS had a hospital worth being a board member of.
