Biden has been doing these grassroots fundraisers online the past month with a variety of people. The last 2 with Kamala Harris and Elizabeth Warren did incredibly well. The one tomorrow is with - Barack Obama

Oddly not one with Bernie Sanders.  Hmm.

The reprehensible Shaun King is now advocating for any images of a white Jesus to be taken down.

I have not heard of any real activists who ever advocate this type of position. It feels like a very deliberate attempt to not only get attention, but also to muddy the waters and give power to those on the right who insist that BLM and other groups are on some kind of ever-expanding mission of destruction.

This is why some on the left giving him such a loud voice was a terrible idea. He can't run his con as well as he planned since Bernie lost, so he's trying to sabotage Biden, and beyond that, as this isn't just about Biden, he's also trying to sabotage the many activists who have repeatedly called him out and tried to make people wake up about him.

Just shameful. And yet I still don't think people will fully shut the door on him.

It's pathetic. Sessions spent decades as one of the leading hatemongers on the right. Just another example of how Trump grinds anyone who gets near him into the dust.

He's being derided and mocked by every Black person on Twitter, his main stomping ground. If some on the left aren't smart enough to have peeped his game by now, there's no help for it, I guess.  People are free to waste their money on gambling and grifters, if they want to ignore the year+ worth of warnings.

Zoom is also hella insecure (see what I did there? Seriously, though) and I seek to avoid them at every turn.

I'm no fan of Google but I'm more inclined to use their video services because better to "stick with the devil you know".

Are there still any Trump apologists left on this board? Lurking?  Just in case.

What annoys me most is many people will just turn a blind eye or say "Well he didn't really mean it" because they can't face who he is or they don't care because they are as sick as he is.

Meanwhile, the scum working for him just keep on grifting.

I can't believe anyone at the NYT is paid to write an article like this...and what a shock that with Maggie Haberman's constant push to show how important she is to the Trump circle they also have a story that heavily uses her first name.

(they didn't even get the name of the song right!)

Me too. I hate all of this video conferencing, although for a different reason. I just don't want to deal with any of it. Just let me isolate in peace for heaven's sake.  But no. Every kindergarten teacher, rabbi, doctor and her sister wants to video conference with me.  I almost (but not quite) wish it were 1990 again.

    • I like Margaret well enough in what I've seen of her as Paige - she is green but she has real star power.  I agree about the actor who plays Brian. He's...mostly just there. Not bad but not great.  My main issue is with the guy who plays Owen. He's just not appealing to me. I can believe Nola being obsessed with him, but he's draining to watch.  I'm surprised people objected to the quasi-incest elements as it wasn't anything that new for soaps.  Speaking of Kim, here's a rare episode of an anthology show she did called The Evil Touch.

    •   I get what you're both saying, and I think the show was lucky to have even made it that long, but I think they could have still maintained a certain audience - Second Chances did before the earthquake. CBS was an older network anyway. I think the premise of Knots was still usable, it was more the characters who were a problem - many of the older figures were played out. If the show had done a better job building up its younger cast instead of making so many poor choices in the late '80s and early '90s, they could have kept things going a little longer.
    • I wish I cared about the homeless lady as much as everyone else seems to. After the nothing burger that was the lawsuit, this just feels like another boring Naomi storyline at Orphy Genes since she has no office.
    • That's great to hear. Thanks. I wish that was more readily available.
    • Just learned that Clifton Davis wrote this song!  I had no idea.

    • I think even if Marland had wanted to write more for Sara/Adam, his hands would have been tied as Robert Milli was one of the actors dumped by P&G due to his age.  From the bits and pieces I've seen of that period, Sara does have a key role in the Carrie plot, and Marland briefly gave her son Tim a more important part. I'm not sure if they just gave up on Tim once Kevin Bacon left or if they never really cared. I did not even know for many years that there was an actor in the part after Kevin...and then not one, but two. The Spauldingfield video on Tim doesn't even show the last actor (Nigel Reed), which kind of says it all. Anyway, I do get the sense Marland has some use for Sara, or for Millette. It's only after he goes that she is dumped. Of course he didn't ever hire her for his other shows, so maybe I'm wrong. (then again he never hired Geraldine Court either and he seemed very fond of her) Ann is an odd character to me as she is a proto-Lillian in being defined by pining for a Bauer brother and being involved in the death of one of their wives. I do wonder what else they could have done with her. She was friends with Diane, wasn't she? They could have had Diane manipulate her against Mike, I suppose.
    • Yassss....come on Maurice and Brandon...give us nothing!!! Wow, their need to develop their craft shone like a blinding light this episode. Brandon in his Martin and Smitty scenes sounded like he was reading and the facial expressions were giving Disney Channel. He did much better against Maurice in the Martin v Ted scenes. Now, Teddd-dyy (Dana's voice) was just flat. I watched the episode just now after reading the comment on here that Maurice needs to stop swaying, and now I can't unsee it. Has it really been this bad all along?  Ambyr carries. I don't need to say anymore. I am kind of excited to see this Kat/Tomas/Eva stuff play out.  Bill is such a dick to Dani. Like that's the mother of your children that you cheated on with your daughter's best friend but you look to take those low blows. Lord! When he said that thing about it being obvious he didn't care about Dani anymore since he was the one that walked out...that was cold. I even felt for Dani. Bill definitely is all over the spectrum. You can see a villain possibly surfacing, but you also see this great father. The elder Duprees move a little funny. I'm wondering what that is all about. Are they just overly protective matriarch and patriarch because they think it's what's best for their family, or are they afraid their secrets will come out or there's something more sinister there. Why would Vernon want to keep that information from Martin?  I hope something interesting comes out of this June stuff, but as of right now, I'm not too invested. It's not helping my interest on Naomi or Jacob either. However, tge actress playing Naomi has comes a long way from day one.
