I guess he was mostly running as an insurance policy in case none of the other moderates could make it. I'm glad he saw the writing on the wall, especially since he would have done well in Florida and cut into Biden's vote.

he endorsed Biden. Bernie's people are crying "cover-up" and saying everything was rigged by the establishment. Biden may be on his way. just saw trump's twitter...he's pissed.

I was reading this about Bernie's mistakes in treating the party as the enemy

CNN discussed this as well last night.

Texas had a +41% increase in voting from 2016

Yeah, when I posted this from last night, it was obvious that the writing was on the wall.

Oh, the irony! Especially since the Sanders campaign hitched their post to the aspect of bringing out (new) voters en mass.  The results, for him though were the opposite of what he was going for, I bet.

Sanders didn't get the big win in Latino votes in Texas like he thought he would and he didn't count on the black vote to come out in droves plus those offended by his comment about the democratic party being his enemy.

Why are de Blasio and Reich all in with Bernie? @DRW50  I understand why a "revolutionary" like Shaun King who wants to burn down the system is with Bernie, but this these guys are seasoned politicians who should know better.

Two thoughts:

1. The only way a woman will ever get to be president in this country is if she can straddle the hood of a car like Tawny Kitaen.

2. Next time Mike Bloomberg wants to blow through a ton of cash in a hurry, he should do like the rest of us and go to Vegas.

But seriously.

I've considered this elections a two-front war: the Republicans on one and the attempted hard left takeover of the Democratic Party on the other. I'm ecstatic about seeing Bernie's revolution shown to be a myth and hopefully we finish him for good by November.

Same.  It's way past time for many people in this country to admit that their revolution is not coming.

That ALONE should make rational people think twice before voting for Bernie Sanders.

It cannot be said enough: the South Carolina primary changed everything.  EVERYTHING.

And, like @marceline said upthread, all it took was giving African-Americans their chance to be heard.

Oh, I get it: Black people shut his "revolution" down last night; so, now, he's gonna do whatever it takes -- even use our president -- to get us to vote for his basic ass.

Someone please stop this s.o.b. before he takes it upon himself to get a Jheri curl, tap dance or eat fried chicken.

On second thought, let Bernie get the Jheri curl.  I could use more hard laughs.

That's rich considering he was fighting against the establishment...the democratic party.

Bernie is getting desperate

Wow Bernie is on live and he looks defeated

Bernie is backtracking on the establishment comment

"Forget the Jheri curl, Bernie, just head straight for the Kangol hat and FUBU jersey!"

If Elizabeth Warren were to drop out tomorrow, to whom would her followers shift their support?  Would they align themselves with Biden, or with Sanders?  On the one hand, it seems like a no-brainer that they would go to another progressive, like Sanders.  But, on the other hand, Bernie Bros have been so toxic that I actually see Warren's followers' support shifting toward Biden instead.

Speaking only for myself who still prefers Elizabeth over the other two in the race for #NaturalCauses2020, I'd sooner support Biden than Sanders. *Especially* with Kamala as Biden's VP.

Mama Khan heard on some crackpot YouTube channel that Joe Biden is rumored to be considering Michelle Obama as his running mate.  "And what would their campaign slogan be," I asked. "'Reunited, and It Feels So Good'?"

I swear, as much as people hate the Clintons and the Obamas, not only do they talk a lot about them, but they also appear to be more willing to see them BACK on the political stage more than folks who actually love them!

Or like, I dunno, get some clean water over to Flint? Or did another cathedral burn down?

It's amazing how much money people have and could do SO much good with it... but don't...
