Florida is fool's gold for Democrats. There's a lot of pundit push and social media push about how Hispanics are supporting Trump and Biden has failed to win them, but even when Hillary did very well among them in 2016, she still didn't win.

This race is going to be very close, I have felt this all along, and as it gets closer I am nervous of how many are going to just give in to despair and not bother to commit their time or vote.

@marceline that's true about that faction of the left. I believe many will vote for Trump. I just hope they don't live in swing states.

Speaking of polls, Rasmussen has Biden up by 4 in Ohio, although that poll is junk. Still, maybe it will be close.

Hey, y'all! Guess what? We, the taxpayers, are now paying for Don's defense in his rape case against E. Jean Carroll as the DOJ had papers filed to move the case to federal court AND name the US Government - rather than Dump - as the defendant as the accusation was made, Barr argues, while Dump is on the job.

I don't want ONE CENT of my money defending this piece of schitt!

The corruption NEVER ENDS.

The news about the DOJ shocked me, and I didn't think I could be shocked by anything with this fascist. Sadly, most people don't care - they never do.

I was surprised to see Dave Weigel, who likes to tie himself to various far left and fauxgressive groups/people, retweet this. Ryan Knight is an especially desperate fauxgressive grifter who went from not having a problem with Biden and supporting Harris and Warren to overnight becoming a hardcore Bernie bro. He's now shaming anyone who dared to laugh at the floatilla fiasco and he is openly pushing third party votes. Maybe some with basic common sense are starting to see just how much damage these con artists and attention whores do to their movement in the long term (none of them will say a bad word about Jill Stein, but she did unbelievable damage to the Green Party).

Is anybody with any ounce of power in DC going to do something about Trump and Barr and this lawsuit? Or are people so deferential of presidential power that they let these crooks ride roughshod over US laws and steal out of the taxpayers' pocket? Both Barr and Trump need to be in jail.

Trump, with all his 'billions' cannot afford to pay lawyers for his own lawsuits? Doesn't the orange godfodda have a consigliere? Can Roy Cohn be raised from his grave vampire-styles and take over this lawsuit from Barr?

Taxpayer's money!!!! Isn't that a Faux News mantra? The Dems need to beat this drum hard (but they won't). Even most of Trump's core base love their money more than they love him.

    • yes. today Monday's episode started with words displayed "part 1" and ended with "to be continued"
    • I find Missy Reeve's views offensive and I don't want to defend her, but I don't think she ever said anything publicly about Days "gay content".   In fact, I don't think she's ever said anything negative about Days at all.  There's no indication Missy is difficult or unprofessional on set-except for the whole affair thing years ago lol-but that's a whole different topic. I can dislike Missy as a person and still think she's the perfect fit for Jen.  Cady tried and it didn't work for me.  Whenever Missy steps into the role it works.  It's a two things can be true situation.  Missy has some bad opinions, but she's great at playing Jennifer.
    • Doesn't the funeral go into Tuesday
    • Christian Streaty wrote her second freelance script today on Days. Surprised they gave the first funeral episode to a newbie.
    • And the third thing, which I have no cite for, and I may look to see if one is findable, but supposedly she said that the show had too much gay content in it. And, to be fair, that could be someone making a criticism about balance & not be bigotry but when it's added to the other, that's why it bugs people.

The greatest tv series season finale in history.
    • Mick Savage was sooo unbearable. And more unbearable was the reaction from the female characters to him - they were acting like he is God's gift to women and sooo irresistible. To a point of unbelievable cringe.
    • Today was a short one. Only 33 minutes.  The ‘Part One’ graphic at the beginning was pretty interesting though. I didn’t expect them to do something like that.  I like how everything was focused around John and his family and friends. Again, the acting and the dialogue was very well done and well written. And I love that they were able to incorporate Drake’s, “swing for the fences” phrase into the script. It was nice seeing everyone interact with each other, especially characters who don’t often share scenes together. It felt like every character was part of a big family or community. Plus, an outdoor funeral in June makes a lot more sense than an outdoor funeral in December.  But yeah, it’s very, very strange that Will isn’t at the funeral, especially since we know that

I would much rather he had been there today. And, where’s Anna too? And Jack and Jennifer? What was the point of bringing them all back if they weren’t going to attend the funeral? I expected Steve to want to close down BlackPatch, though I’d rather he just retire and let Paul take it over. But I like that Kayla was there to comfort him. I wonder if he’s going to change his mind at some point.  It was nice seeing Shane again too. Now, he just needs to have more scenes with his son lol but I enjoyed seeing him comfort Marlena. I’m not really sure about his interaction with Cat though? Was it really necessary for this to happen now, at John’s funeral? They could’ve waited a little longer to introduce this story arc.  Btw, was Tate bleeding from his head in his first scene with Arianna?
    • This is the coldest early June in my life. It's like it's January.
