So when is Trump going to divest himself of his company holdings? Because until that paperwork gets filed in those three states, he's still in violation of the rule.

A few weeks ago, I read all about how a certain peanut farmer had to give up his business for the Presidency, so why should any one president be an exception to this rule?

right now Trump is being read for FILTH by both Morning joe (the hacks who helped put that moron in office) and New Day. BTW...the cheering at the CIA PC were pad for Trump supporters who were brought to the event by Trump himself.

She's done with party politics IMPO. she seems more happy now than I've ever seen her. she wants to do the projects she feels will have the most impact, but I feel she's retired from politics. why get involved in it? we have 4 yrs now to LAUGH OUR COLLECTIVE [!@#$%^&*] ASSES OFF at Trump. she should just sit back...and ENJOY THE CIRCUS.

Just read an article showing the list of lies that Spicer and Kellyanne (Ms. "Alternative Facts") Conjob have been spouting over the last several days.

This administration is definitely now known as the Compulsive Liars Club. They make demonstrably false statements that are easily proven false, possibly as a diversion tactic in order to obfuscate, confuse and muddle while they proceed to wreck the ACA, Medicaid (with their disastrous idea of 'block grants') and civil rights policies.

This article discusses the potential job losses by state once the ACA is repealed.

Am I reading this right or has anyone noticed that the states that would be greatly affected the most (minus NY and California) are states that Trump won?

Georgia (my state), North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Texas, Michigan, Florida are gonna suffer the most.

Oh there is no question that she's done. But after several months of what we're seeing now, I doubt the press and the public will be as harsh on her and I do believe her legacy is in no way going to be lock her up. The Clinton Foundation does so much good around the world, but I would love to see her do something independent of Bill. I know their a team , but I hope she does something on her own outside of politics.

I do wonder if he and some of the people around him including Bannon who's honestly a smart guy, really believed once elected they could keep up the reality show atmosphere surrounding them. As completely frightened as this all makes me, I never believed it was sustainable nor did any of these hypocrites like Morning Joe, which is exactly why they a;; continued and still continue to talk about him pivoting. The only reason people kept discussing that was because they knew the circus could not last forever.  I remember the stories of when Nixon's descent started, and there are a lot of the same patterns here. But at the end of it, America was a dark place then too. While we had I think decent people following in Ford and Carter to try and restore some semblance of trust, this country has never been the same since. And this is all going to make that look like child's play. I can honestly say I fear this man not just shooting a nuclear weapon at someone outside of the US, but against his own country.

That wouldn't surprise me.  We've been saying all along how Trump supporters had voted against their own interests.  Losing jobs through this and other means might not convince ALL of them -- and frankly, IDC anymore whether they will be convinced -- but it would serve them right to get exactly the kind of government they wanted (even if, I'm sorry to say, we have to suffer right along with them).

Damn.

To the people who didn't want this to happen and don't deserve it, I'm sorry.  To the rest?  Well, hopefully, you'll learn that misery doesn't always love company.

Is Hillary Clinton done with politics?  To the extent of running for office again, I would say so.  If she were to run again, the other side as well as the media would rehash all the scandals.  Of course, who KNOWS where this country will be once Trump gets through.  More voters might ignore the static to keep from making the same mistake twice. But I don't know whether she should take that chance.

    • Where do you discover this crazy rumor??
    • Jill Farren Phelps was always very skilled at saying what she meant onscreen in the bluntest way possible, like whenever she wanted fans to support one character vs. the other (hence Megan McTavish groaning about having to write Kale Browne's Sam Rappaport into three days a week at OLTL). Perhaps you should consider doing the same. Historically your intent is always far more obvious than your efforts at coy embroidery anyway. You believe people are dismissing Phelps' accomplishments, and suggest misogyny and fan blinders allow people to too easily pigeonhole and dismiss her skill set. I think we all understand her varied skill set. We're saying it's not enough to make up for her deficiencies as a storyteller and creative. JFP was undoubtedly a skilled technical producer. As a solo storyteller, and de facto HW, she was a repeat and predictable failure. She was not the first or last EP (male or female) to think she was a writer. If you want us to stop taking your behavior personally when you suggest misogyny is at play in board opinions of JFP, perhaps you should consider spending the next 10+ years here not acting like you're the only one who gets it.

Melissa was here today & we went to Michael's Crafts & Ofc Depot. In Michael's there were two beautiful LITTLE girls who kept staring at me, so I gave them a littel wave & very quietly said HI & then did back. I told Melissa they were staring at me. She smiled & said "Purple. A lot of little girls love purple & you forget but you have purple hair. Seeing you their whole imaginations are transformed! Thinking "That lady has purple hair. That means I can have purple hair! They had no clue before seeing you that it was possible." I just laughed & laughed.
    • This opening scene is hilarious...it's like someone wrote out the script for Philip with one hand. And Rick...sniffing a scarf over and over. And in their next scene they are still sniffing the [!@#$%^&*] scarf as the camera stays all over Philip's bare chest and armpits as he keeps working out. Insane stuff.

Bay City better be ready, because I'm back!   At Vicky's apartment she is once again drowning in doubts and jealousy. Deep down she realizes that her dream wedding will be a farce and nothing can change that. Bridget tries to calm her down, but the heroine is determined to suffer. She is not hearing any positive thoughts. She doesn't believe Jamie will marry her. At the Cory Publishing building another farce is in process. Iris, once again pretending to be the angel of love and sisterhood... is telling Mac and Rachel some wonderful news. When Iris has good news, you really need to look out for yourself. That's when things are bad. So what are the news? Miss Devil has put Amanda up for an award! Mac is smiling from ear to ear, and Rachel is suspicious. Maybe that's the effect Iris is looking for. To once again accent on the fact that Rachel doubts and criticizes her daughter. Iris will do anything to destabilize their relationship. She is like a cancer. Back to Vicky! Jamie is at the door. Looking like a sad puppy, he has come with a surprise. No, he is not gonna leave her and her unborn... Not yet. He has bought her earrings. Sad face. How nice. NOT. Victoria, of course... manages to break one of them the moment she touches it. Bad premonition maybe? She was back in hysterics. It's not easy to trap a man into marriage. Then you have to live with someone that didn't want you in the first place.  We were introduced to a new character (to me at least she is new) - Cass's sister - Stacey. She is giving me "hidden skeletons in the closet"-vibes. Love a girl like that. Stunning actress. I like her. The highlight of the episode was the strange and creepy reveal of Evan the escort... hugging someone named Janice's grave. I remember she had an issue with Rachel... and Rachel killed her in self defense I think... It was hinted in prior episodes, but I lack the context and story. I just know that everyone at the Frame house was mad that Rachel killed the bish. But I also got the impression that this Janice was sick in the head. So Evan is now talking to her grave and telling her he is going to ruin Rachel's life basically. Oh, Evan... I liked you better as a sexy gigolo.  Overall - 10/10 - how can I rate it lower when I haven't watched in months!!!

    • Once again, Marlena and Kayla were used very effectively and I couldn’t be happier.  Marlena counseling Johnny and then Chanel was the best part of today. They’re really delving into the human emotion of this storyline and I think that’s a good thing. It feels so much mature than it was before. EJ’s fear about what could happen to Johnny if he doesn’t let go of his anger could lead to some really good storylines in the future.  I also really appreciate the way that Paula/Jeanne are mixing it up and having different characters interact with each other. It was nice to see Shawn and Johnny remember that they’re cousins and share a scene together. I liked the parallel that was drawn between the two of them, and what’s going on with their fathers. I did have mixed feelings about everything with Cat though. I enjoyed Chanel warning her about EJ, mostly because it played into the way that she was written today. But I wasn’t the biggest fan of the Chad/EJ scenes. The two of them discussing Chad’s potential feelings for Cat didn’t really keep my interest.  But above all, I feel that everyone is being used more effectively and that we’re getting a better understanding of everyone as well. And that was exactly what Days needed.
    • It's a wild story for sure, especially the final conclusion (and fireworks offcamera, like Victoria Wyndham tearing into Michael Logan).
