Thank you there is a god!!! I wanted him to play Shayne Lewis on GL, but this is better. Just one more reason to watch Y&R besides Kevin and Adam. Lets just hope he is walking around shirtless in a pair nice jeans that are hugging all the right places for the first week.

I agree. As much as I would have hated to inflict current-GL on Billy, he would have been a wonderful Shayne. And it would have made sense to bring Shayne back with an edge. He had after all been in Bosnia for the past few years.

I heard that interview on ITZ, and it was painful...and NOT because of anything YOU were doing. "I'm not at liberty..." I get that he was bitter, but he didn't even try.

Michael Logan reported in TV Guide this week that Billy Miller has been snatched up by The Young and the Restless. The actor was let go by All My Children last month after his character, Richie Novak, was pretty much unredeemable after being written into a corner. Since they didn't go the twin route, Billy was free to pursue other interests.

Y&R has cast him as Billy Abbott, the son of Jill and John Abbott. He was memorably played by David Tom (brother of Heather Tom - Katie on The Bold and the Beautiful), but two subsequent recasts just didn't catch on. I'm very excited to see what Miller does with the character. I'm assuming that he is back to compete with half-brother Cane (Daniel Goddard) for the CEO position with Jabot, but this is just speculation. Whatever they have him do, the handsome yet very talented actor should make things interesting.

Y&R seems to be turning a corner lately -- I'm once again looking forward to lunchtime again.

You know, I knew from the second I heard Miller was gone from AMC that he would end up at a CBS soap. But I must say, I'm surprised it's not GL trying to pay AMC back for stealing Ehlers and Goldin.

I could not disagree more. I think Y&R has found it's Billy Abbott and as far as I'm concerned Heather can stay right were she is.

Seems like a good actor, looks a helluva lot better than David Tom does currently, has a bit of Jess Walton in him.
