That's a whole new tune you're singing these days, Ry. :P You must be onto getting an interview with her.

I do. But my intention is never to be offensive and brusque.

Sorry Sylph. I really didn't indend to offend either. You just shoot straight, and don't soft sell your opinions. From the little I've seen you also have very well thought out and defined opinions and you don't waffle. I can change stances on a dime, so I have few opinions I express emphatically. Some people say that makes me open minded and objective, others think I am just fickle. :)

Just because I like Ron Carlivati's work on OLTL doesn't mean I worship the ground the man walks on. And just because many fans are happy with the state of the show, doesn't mean we don't criticize what we feel is wrong. It pisses me off, and I'm sure it pisses others off, when people try to paint us as cult followers who are so blinded by our happiness for the show. I'm not stupid, I know this man is no Douglas Marland, he's not re-inventing the wheel, but that still doesn't prevent me from enjoying the show.

Good joke? No, great joke. Best joke ever, I'd say, lol!

Oh, do not apologize! I really like you, rhinohide, and from what I read of your posts, they seem very literate and thoughtful. So you made it onto my list of to-read people. :D

Thank you for the nice words. ;)

I like Josh and Cassie as a couple. There is so much untapped potential with these two; so many feelings and issues that need to be explored.

Nadia Bjorlin's tiny amount of acting talent has totally disappeared lately; the girl has been taking tips from Charity Rahmer, it appears.

Even still, considering all the hype she has to the point where she's been asked to return to the show TWICE, you'd think she'd step it up a little. I havent been that impressed with her latest stint; and now that she's in scenes with far better actors like Alison Sweeney, James Scott, Arianne Zuker and Bryan Dattilo, her lack of talent shows even more.

The girl is stunning, though, I'll give her that.

    • I would love for Rick and Amber to come back and Amber to be involved with Deke somehow

The show does look great though!
    • Well, she just said "ladies" on the show but she didn't specify they were fellow actresses. It could have been some of the women behind the scenes of the show. There was a lot in the interview that wasn't clear to me.
    • Now would’ve been a great time to get the next A plot going, versus Bill and Katie and Steffy and Liam rehashing the same BS about Luna we have been hearing for weeks.
    • I feel it could benefit from a focus on one of their three A stories or a solid B plot. But right before the turnover from Guza to Thomson, outside of all things Dani...there's nothing too A story-ish going on. Still entertaining for me, but it's noticeable that there is not a main story with other B/C stories going on. It's just...a bunch of stories going on.    I do hope the build to Winterfest and us actually seeing it THIS month will get things moving again.    HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
    • GET THAT HEFFA, NOSY NURSE!!!   I'm sorry to see Smitty and June coming to a middle ground. It seem like that tension would be between them for at least one more story arc. A writing change?   I'm sorry but I love the teen unit of Ty, Samantha, and Jessica (and Rocco, Danny, Charlotte over on GH which is what today is reminding me of). I'm a sucker for soap teens. lol.
    • I really hope Laura doesn’t get reelected. She doesn’t deserve it. Imagine her campaign staff, freaking out at the Metro Court as election results come in while she’s hanging out with Sonny.
    • Thanks for that. It was great to see her in an interview. She's very likable. Although it was somewhat confusing. What new soap is she talking about going on audition for in 1973. Was it The Young and the Restless? Is it just me or did they never even say the name of this soap opera? Days wasn't new in 1973 and there was no "Jack" with three daughters on The Young and the Restless. What soap are they talking about? The editing around that part was weird and choppy. I felt like there was a chunk missing or something. And I'm not sure why she was saying she got colorectal cancer from HPV and said it's because she never got the HPV vaccine but then said she's never had anal sex. I'm not a doctor but that didn't seem to make any medical sense. I don't know. Maybe I'm tired. It just seemed like some of this interview didn't make sense.
    • If it helps any, the last script cover from the Elman papers that I have is from episode #3,736 airdate November 15, 1977. Writers are the Hollands with Frank Salisbury.
    • B&B really does look incredible. The lighting and the polished sets have made a significant difference how visually appealing the show is now.
    • I found the problem with the Labine era was that the show lost some humour when the Labines came on and it could be dull. They also didn't seem to understand some of the characters. As others have said, it looks fantastic in comparison to the next regime but I just remember boredom being the primary response.
