I read an article that was in some soap magazine of the day saying she appeared on TD before Somerset, but don't remember seeing her or reading that before. There is an interview I read from her time on Somerset, she definitely made it sound like Somerset was her first time on camera professionally. Would have been neat if she had been on TD though. Members ClassicsSoapFan Posted May 24 Members Share Posted May 24 (edited) I am streaming the Doctors on the It's Real Good TV app. I am in 1973 and I will watch 5 or 6 episodes a day. I love it. It is old fashioned soap that has gone out of style. The Pollocks are good writers but they do a lot of recapping and flash backs. This brings on fast forwarding which helps me watch multiple episodes. I think Nick and Althea are too smart to have put up with Cathy and John and their shenanigans for so long. They have introduced Laurie James - a nurse turned singer back to nurse and a former lover of Hank Iverson. They are wearing out that song 'No Way'. They even had Matt Powers listen to it in his office. I don't remember that song at all. Was it ever a hit on radio? I love Martha! She tells it like it is and is not afraid to put her boss Nick in his place. Carolee is a favorite too.
