May 22, 200818 yr Member Rebecca Budig rocked her scenes and almost made me feel sorry for Greenlee, but I just couldn't because this "betrayal" pales so much in comparison to her stealing Kendall's son. I wish Kendall or Zach had brought that up. Meh I wasn't all that impressed, I think I probably would have bought Greenlee being betrayed if it been Sabine, cause even though I felt Aidan & Greenlee were contrived from the get go I could tell that Sabine's Greenlee & Aidan loved each other. Not convinced of this since RB returned I wish they had brought it up too, but they're never allowed to bring up stuff like that, same goes for Adam with Tad, Erica with Jack and so on
May 22, 200818 yr Member Loved the Greg, Jesse and Angie scene...loved the group hug Joe and Ruth dancing in the background was cute And I so wish Zach and Kendall were allowed to walk up to Greenlee, tell her she is invisible to them and then walk away from her(like the DH ladies did to Edie). Nothing would make me happier Edited May 22, 200818 yr by Laurie
May 23, 200818 yr Member Rebecca Budig rocked her scenes and almost made me feel sorry for Greenlee, but I just couldn't because this "betrayal" pales so much in comparison to her stealing Kendall's son. I wish Kendall or Zach had brought that up. Why, exactly? That kind of contradicts the idea of forgiveness and progression. That's the whole point. They've forged this new bond, a renewed friendship -- yet it was built on top of a lie. It has nothing to do with what happened with Spike and CRASH. It has everything to do with what wasn't told to Greenlee about what went on between Aidan and Kendall. It would've made Kendall look like an immature bitch to bring that back up in this particular moment. It would've made it even worse, actually, because it would've seemed like Kendall got some of the Spotted Dick out of vengence and spite. "This is NOTHING compared to the betrayal I supposedly forgave you for months ago, Greenlee!" Greenlee was lied to by people she thought she had built a trust with. She has every reason to be upset. Her friend and fiance slept together and covered it up. What? She was supposed to be all "OMIGOD! YOU SLEPT TOGETHER?! Wait a minute, I did steal your son, so... no harm done! Tee hee!"

She was supposed to be all "OMIGOD! YOU SLEPT TOGETHER?! Wait a minute, I did steal your son, so... no harm done! Tee hee!" None of that means I or anybody else has to feel sorry for Greenlee's wah-wah-WAAAAHHHH. This Greenlee didn't even decide Aidan was the right man for her until about 4-5 week ago. She can be angry for today and for the rest of her life but I don't care since she did steal Kendall's son after seeing her go into premature labor which was a nearly deadly decision for both of Kendall's children. That alone is bad, but she has so little perspective and overall recognition of the depth of what she did there (and what she got completely forgiven for) and that makes it worse. IMO, Kendall should have taken a note from Zach and said "you talking to me like that after all you did? *Punch*" to Greenlee. Kendall needs to find her spine and figurative balls when it comes to Greenlee and get rid of the garbage. Kendall should have told Aidan that she told Zach. It was kind of f-ed up of her not to Aidan didn't tell her that he told Tad...who then told Zach without really knowing if Zach knew or not. Aidan needs to go find his balls and spine and just take responsibility for his actions. It was his decision to go save Jake. It was his decision to not tell Greenlee the truth.
May 23, 200818 yr Member Angela I want to marry your post Kendall should have told Aidan that she told Zach. It was kind of f-ed up of her not to WHY? Her marriage and husband are her first priority, NOT Aidan. I didn't see him telling her he told Tad either

Wishing Kendall would get spiteful and bitchy right back is just wishing she'd be infantile on Kendall's part. She either forgives Greenlee and cares for and about her, or she doesn't and is just holding on to the car crash as a "Get out of Jail Free" card whenever she dicks her "Friend" over. Considering that I'd like to think Kendall is mature enough to be a true friend and actually care about Greenlee's feelings, then Kendall should behave as such. Greenlee, on the other hand, has never been a good friend, so I'm not surprised by her ranting and screaming. She's selfish and incapable of being a true friend -- but that doesn't mean she doesn't have a right to be extremely pissed off that she's been lied to about something this big -- whether you care or not. Zach, on the other hand, IMO, had every right to be outraged with Aidan. Aidan's been hanging around Tad too long -- getting extremely self righteous when they're the ones who have committed the infractions. I don't get how you sleep with someone's wife and then get mad at them for not telling you they knew. That doesn't work.
May 23, 200818 yr Author Member Julia/Jake=missed opportunity. I think they would make a great couple
May 23, 200818 yr Member Greenlee's whole reaction was very in character and I loved seeing Rebecca Budig play HER character for all its worth. I also loved seeing Aidan get sacked in the face by Zach because he deserved it. He was the one I was telling to STFU today, not Greenlee. The rest of the episode was also fantastic. J.R and Babe were actually great together and I felt so bad for Adam. It was nice to see Dixie appear to Kate and cover her ears while Adam was ranting Jesse and Robert's scenes were intense and very well acted. I am sad David Rasche is most likely going to be concluding his stay in Pine Valley.

I bolded my favorite part. I'm sick of Kendall happily being Greenlee's little whipped bitch. Nobody could hate themselves that much to keep that kind of nasty infestation in their life. That's the thing, Steve never said she didn't have the right to be pissed. He said he wished Kendall or Zach brought up the kidnapping somewhere in there. I felt the same way thus my response about what I can/can't feel, that doesn't mean I think Greenlee should have gone around passing hugs and saying all is forgiven and that doesn't mean I don't think she had a right to be angry. I just don't feel for her in the situation for the reasons I typed and those reasons (more than one reason) and that feeling doesn't translate into me saying she doesn't have the right to her anger ... but just like Kendall's forgiveness should stand for something (like her not throwing it in her face which she didn't - it's all forgotten to a sickening point), what Greenlee did to her while she was going into premature labor stands for something and Greenlee has no real perspective or recognition of that (I am probably bringing spoiler knowledge into stating that which is unfair if one doesn't read spoilers, but I also mean in relationship to the past year). I can state that (and Steve can) without it somehow being translated at me saying Greenlee doesn't have the right to be angry. That's all I'm saying. Julia/Jake=missed opportunity. And it would have been good story with Kate in the middle. Stupid.
May 23, 200818 yr Member Julia and Jake? Poor Sydney's been flat-lining with every male lead they've paired her up with the last two years... I think she's a different kind of actress. She needs a different caliber of actor as a leading man that soaps -- especially AMC -- probably aren't great for casting. She and KHC fit like a glove, but KHC isn't a typical "soap actor" either.
May 23, 200818 yr Member RB's Greenlee just die already. RB is dull as dishwater. Go back to California. Uh ouch. Say what you want about Greenlee but leave RB alone.
May 23, 200818 yr Member I loved me some Rebecca Budig today! She was fierce - like the way she used to be - and is always supposed to be! This show is on fire lately! Loving it!

I think if TPTB's had actually invested in writing for her she could have worked with either Ryan or David and there does seem to be a smotth vibe between Jake/Julia (who so doesn't look like a Martin, lol). Their effort with the character was always like driving on flat tires. They gave it a quick try and then ditched "the car." Off-topic: I watched J/A wedding this morning (meaning like at 3 a.m., lol) - Classic, beautiful, romantic. I wasn't even feeling J/A until a few weeks ago and now I think I wub them.
