Those gym commercials! LOL Oh, the 80's...  I remember having one on tape from around 1987 with Joan Collins wearing one of those thick headband things and full make-up while she "worked out." 

 

I recently changed cable providers again and alas, no more PopTV for me.  Guess I'll have to wait to finish the series until another time. Left off half-way through season 7. I'm interested in seeing what mess they make of Matthew Blaisdel's return.

The first season will forever be among the best soap opera ever, even if it wasn't flashy and people didn't slap each other and throw mud every day. Even without Alexis.

No, and I still wonder what conversations were had among the Shapiros, Spelling, and ABC about this.  Did they just not care?  They wanted an Alexis-like character for The Colbys, and I suppose it would have been cheesy and terribly transparent to hire another Brit and not expressly tie her to Alexis.  It's especially odd when Miles shows up with amnesiac Fallon aka his new bride Randall and Sable is practically salivating at the fact that Miles has married Blake Carrington's daughter... also your FIRST COUSIN's daughter.

 

However, when Monica and cousin Jeff start a flirtation, Alexis says no worries because Sable was raped and Monica and Miles aren't Jason's biological children anyway.  Scandal!

very interesting, lol funny being that they are still cousins via Sable & Frankie. 

Jason Colby was revealed to be Jeff's father on the Colby's, so I guess being cousins is better than boinking your half-sibling at least.

 

Though Dynasty's cousincest always creeped me out. They were way too accepting about it.

100% agreed. I loved the first season, where they really showed how Krystle was this middle-class outsider stepping into a world she had never known. And having PSM as antagonist Fallon was delicious

Season 9 was a hot mess! Pamela Sue Martin is my Fallon, not Emma Samms.
