I was wondering if Sascha was playing that well (not watching), but saw this from Morgado.

Lord, these up-and-comers are just sh!tting the bed left and right.

These night matches seem pointless, they should be left as a last resort measure when day matches over-extend and spillover into the evening. What can I say, the FFT isn't known for making good decisions where the tournament is concerned.

While I'm no fan of Tsitsipas, his clay court game is pleasant to look at.

The Pavlyuchenkova/Rybakina match was a rollercoaster ride. Pavs came good on that one!

You do an underhanded serve on match point? Medvedev played like garbage. Tsisitpas vs Sasha semis.

Poor Iga.

Why? Because she got injured? It's her fault for playing doubles too which kept her longer on the court. I didn't care when she stopped play to get treated before a change over. I didn't care for her brushing off Maria after she lost. She was a poor sport.

It's rare that a player is able to repeat the next year after they win their first major title. In the last 25 years, Venus did it at Wimbledon and The US Open, I believe. Maybe Rafa at RG?

Capriati and Vika did in Melbourne, but yeah it’s rare (and both of them were on tour a lot longer). I was rooting for her to beat the odds, though.

The French crowd: louder and drunker than ever.

Berrettini stepped his p*ssy up in the third while Djokovic faded. Seeing a lot more variety from Matteo.

Once the nerves settled, that became quite entertaining.

Krejcikova vs Pavlyuchenkova. Who had that penciled in as the final?

I’m sure NBC won’t be pleased, but a surprise Slam champion is fun. Pavs would be sort of like a Flavia Pennetta story.
