Wow....Looking at that list, I am sooo shocked Days is pulling in a 1.9 rating.

It's incredible to me that two toddlers have been in DOUBLE the amount of episodes that Kristian Alfonso and Deidre Hall have been in for the whole year, thus far.

It's also incredible to me that there have been 80+ episodes so far in 2007, and Deidre/Kristian have been in less than twenty of them. They're barely recurring! LoL

No.

Creatively, yes. The show could be on fire in three weeks, for all we know.

In the ratings, though? Trends just keep showing massive dips, year after year after year. In 2009, when the show 'negotiates' with NBC, the ratings will likely be even lower than they are now -- and that says alot. There's no way that NBC will renew, especially when they're so hellbent on ridding themselves of soap operas. And because the genre is dying (not to mention the expensive cast, etc.), I can't see another network picking up the show, either. Even if it turns up elsewhere, like Passions/DirecTV, it won't be the same show that we've always known it to be due to budget cuts, fired veterans, etc.

Either way, Days (as I know it) is done in 2009.

This is horrible for us viewers, but nice for the actors. They are hardly working AND still getting paid. TIIC are such morons. If Hogan/Corday would just learn how to balance the show it would be a win win for all parties.

Hopefully the lists for May, June and the summer months will be more balanced..Bo, Hope, Marlena, and John deserve to be at the top....I think it should go:

Isn't it weird that Billie has more airtime than Hope? Thank good Pinson is doing great in the role.

i have no prob with ali on the much and holdin number one...

but everything else is awful.

How freaking sad is it that Joy Bisco has more episode than Deidre Hall (!!) and Kristian Alfonso both? Farah Fath left two months ago and has the same amount of episodes as Deidre does, and just one less than Kristian? That is PATHETIC. They deserve their 1.9 rating. Well deserved. Until they can put back on the frontburner two beautiful, talented, capable ladies in their prime, they deserve what they're getting, sorry, but they just do. I'm not even a Kristian fan like some around here, but she and Deidre should be in the top 5, not in the below-20s. "Stand-in" Abby has as many episodes as Deidre and the new Stephanie (who arrived just a few days ago) has as many as Kristian.

That's where your 1.9 is. 11 cast members of your top 20 for both this month AND the year so far are practically "newbies" (returned after years away or new to the show).
