March 25, 200719 yr Member ATWT hits a new low in total viewers great job JP. second week in a row we have hit a new low in total viewers Yes, continued new lows and yet no change in head writers.
March 25, 200719 yr Member Look at those truly abysmal 18-49 demos for ATWT. That show looks to be in more trouble than GL.
March 25, 200719 yr Member Girls 12-17 Viewers9. ATWT 14,000 (-7,000/-20,000) It's interesting tha ATWT is dead last in the 12-17 demo, yet the show is heavily focused on teens. Hint! Hint!
March 25, 200719 yr Member GL's ratings............. Could it be that viewers are sick of seeing AVA? Where is Reva??? or Kreizman's mishaps? Are the ratings reflecting this? For instance Kreizman's mishaps..... I can't believe they are getting rid of a character like Alan Michael spaulding....integral part of a core family the Spauldings. There are storyline possibilities for this character, but they just didn't have any interested story lines for the viewers to care about this character. Wouldn't a Gus, Harley, Alan-Michael triangle be nice considering the history with Harley and Alan-Michael and Gus is Alan's son? Here is a chance to bring back a Bauer-"Hope Bauer"- Alan-Michael's mother....Hello...Isn't Robin Mattson available- she played Hope before? Could you see Mattson with Raines??? If Kreizman would just use history more and intertwine stories, there would be more depth....but Kreizman is not capable of this. Instead we have characters we don't care about...Jeffrey, Ava, etc..that are one dimensional to fit the storyline without the right direction and mishaps along the way. Do I need to say more about more mishaps from storylines this past year...We all know what they are. It's time for CBS and Wheeler to wake up and replace Kreizman or give him a capable partner PRONTO!! But lets be honest.CBS wont wake up.The bigwigs dont get it.You have to try and KEEP your so called older audience while courting newer and younger ones....Gl suffers from the same things that other soaps suffer from.....Bring back some OLD HEADS and give them a lot to do...Then bring on some of their children..It can work. But sadly GL and other soaps dont get it...Its a crying shame

March 26, 200719 yr Member Good. Guiding Light has become nothing more than a disgrace. This show toys with its fanbase, but acts surprised when the fans revolt and stop watching. Oh well. Nothing lasts forever. And yes, I'm still bitter over the crappy Jammy ending. The show had months to craft an interesting exit, silmataneously building future arcs, but they rushed through the storyline in a day. All in a vain attempt to create an umbrella stotyline. Well, who's all wet now? LOL.

GL and the rest of the soaps dont learn....They continue to bring on new faces with total disregard to history.....Bring back some fan favs and DO SOMETHING WITH THEM!Oh i am sorry. Its too much money...Give me a break!

Exactly. Soaps are losing viewers because they don't care about the viewers.
March 27, 200719 yr Member Updated with Season to Date Total & 18-49 Viewers I wish Passions could just reach 2 million total viewers and 1 million in the 18-49 demo.
