Ok I know I am in the few but I am really enjoying the Phelia storyline. Kimberly Brown was great in her run as Shelia but Michelle is killing it with her own version. It is really interesting to see her play Shelia playing Phyllis. She is playing this physco to the hills.

Everyone in this storyline is rocking and killing it. Todays show is even better.

I have to to say I have just got use to Jana and now they get rid of her. I know I am in the few on this but I really think Colleen and Kevin would rock. I am sorry I know I am twisted but they would rock together.

As for Jack, please let him go down a few levels. Its time too smug needs a reality check and needs it now.

I loved the Pheila/Phyllis face-to-face yesterday...

That nut job is so touched in the head that she had a gun pointed at the baby...

Something does tell me, however, that this storyline is FAR from over...I mean, next week when all the action really begins, are they going to have it all wrapped in a bow and say, Sheila is done with...or are they going to through in another curve ball and keep this story going till let's say, early/mid spring?

I just don't think that once Lauren has her showdown with Pheila it's going to be over.

I am still not totally caught up on this weeks shows yet, but the parts that I have seen have been really good, so far I have only seen Thursday's show all the way through, and that was a fantastic eppy, makes me think today may even be better.

Sheila and Phyllis together was priceless

Yeah, I think so too. They need to take Kevin down the Todd Manning road, imo. A reformed badboy with a whole lot of edge left. GR has the talent to pull that off, I think. I wish they would take Colleen a little darker too and eventually hook them up. It's not like it hasn't been done before. JR tried to kill Babe on AMC and Alan tried to kill Monica. The show needs to follow the chemistry. I think Colleen and Kevin have it. Janna and Kevin don't and Colleen and JT, sure don't. At least that's how I see it.

Darn! Jana is out? I hadn't heard that she was leaving the show, I really liked her and her quirky ways.

I finally caught up with all shows last night and the part that stood out and made me laugh was Paul telling mags "oh she's just a psychopath" like it was nothing she should bother with!!

I'm sorry, but what was so great about the Pheila/Phyllis face off? There was none. I don't understand why they didn't actually show the confrontation between the moments of Phyllis opening the door and Phyllis being tied up. I wanted more of Phyllis's reaction and all of that dialogue that went with that. I wanted to see the actual struggle between the two and how Pheila was able to take down Phyllis. This is one of the main reasons LML's writing pisses me off. She completely skips over the most important and interesting beats of her stories. I can't wait until this crap is over... if I'll even been around to see it played out.

What confrontation? Its the same actress... and in this scneario, one character is a watered down version of previous glories and the other is a contrived hybrid of that very character in her original state and another actresses' character. There is no real character as an issue here. Phyllis is not a character anymore. Pheila? Lets not even...

LML has it bad for skipping important scenes. Everyone is scratching their head wondering how the hell Sheila actually got Phyllis tied up. Phyllis isn't one to back down, so she must have pulled the gun on her, but I would have loved to see it. All I can say is Sheila better not slip up and let Phyllis get behind the wheel of a car while she's outside because her ass will be road kill.

    • Dallas peaked early, IMO. Maybe not a fair statement as I’m still making my way through the first half of its run, but I think it’s hard to argue to point that S3 into S4 was its high point. Back to Knots. Wrapping up “And Never Brought to Mind.” Greg’s introduction kinda took me by surprise. I low-key dreaded his arrival bc I know he very quickly gets to the center of the show, but even though they wasted no time connecting him with Mac, Abby, Gary, and Karen, it still feels like a gradual intro. The juxtaposition of the ending of the Chip story with the heating up Abby’s plotting is quite symbolic of the changes the show was going through. I absolutely cannot imagine Kenny and Ginger having any part in any of this. Yall, the Gary/Val piano theme that they pull out from time to time is my FAVORITE. I find myself humming it constantly.
    • Bloodshed is inevitable now. It’s another reason I’m glad Black people aren’t getting involved in these protests. As awful as this is, I keep reminding myself that 54 percent of Latino men voted for Trump. These people were put in harm’s way by members of their own communities and sometimes even members of their own families. Too many people decided to touch the stove.
    • Maybe I'm still in denial, but nothing about Neighbours' ongoing social media output gives the vibe of a show that's ending. In today's 'Roundup' video, Alan Fletcher referenced that production finishes in five weeks, but in all the show's posts the cast are as jovial and lighthearted as ever. Remarkably so for people who are about to lose their jobs.    Perhaps they're just putting a brave face on things, and I know they approached the previous axing with a positive attitude. Maybe putting an upbeat face on things is a collective way of showing potential backers that there's still life in the show? Or is it possible that they already know the show has been saved, and we'll get an announcement next month when filming wraps and the show 'rests'?   Does any of that make sense?!
    • A very good week for male eye candy on GH. New Michael is beautiful, Curtis's arms looked great in that polo shirt, Cody looks even more handsome with his new haircut AND we got Marco in swim shorts rocking his lovely bod and chest fur.

    • Yeah when Jamey Giddens did breakdowns for DAYS, he would sometimes state in tweets that specific things were his idea that he had pitched to Ron.
    • I don't, since they've clearly incorporated them into Tomas' storyline, and I happen to like his tattoos, but his jackets not fitting doesn't mean they're trying to cover his tattoos. The clothing overall isn't the issue; it's the fit. And I expect(ed) more from Jeresa Featherstone and her team. Very disappointed. He's the only male, overall, whose costume irritates me.
    • "And OMG, watching the scenes of Roger's return in comparison...the quality in the writing really nosedived. The stupid mask." Very much agreed.  Having Roger hide behind a mask for weeks/months, with it culminating with him swinging in on a vine at Blake/Phillip's wedding....geez.  So juvenile. IMO, Guiding Light never did a good job reintroducing major characters, either from the dead or elsewhere.  Masked balls = awful.  Amish = awful. When Reva was brought back from the dead, she should've just showed up in Springfield as Reva, and informed everyone that she had been gone for years because she felt like it.  She had a four-year fling with some dude who ended up dumping her due to disloyalty. Josh would be pissed and declare that their love is not *always* but *sometimes* and he'd act accordingly.  Her kids would hate her.
    • Agreed. The Emmys next year are gonna be a pretty tough competition and I hope we get a Days sweep lol  Not only does Deidre deserve a nomination for these last few weeks, but I also think Paul Telfer, Raven Bowens, Carson Boatman, Dan Feuerriegel and Alison Sweeney have good chances as well.
    • It’s not about a lack of faith and trust in MVJ, it’s about a a lack of faith and trust in Ron Carlivati, who I think can be very sneaky and manipulative when he wants to be.  And, all that “He’s just a breakdown writer” talk never changed my mind about anything, because at Days, it was “just a breakdown writer” that gave us some of the worst episodes I’ve ever seen.
