DAYS: OMG! Victor and Bonnie were going to marry!

I think some of us speculated that, and I am so bummed it won't be happening! But oh well. :( The Lockhart's have to go, as much as I love Evans. I hope to see her back Adrienne before too long.

So upsetting that after three years, Bonnie was FINALLY going to get a story. Not only a good story, but a story, period. And as soon as she gets it... kaboom. She's gone. Can you imagine her ruling the roost at the Kiriakis Mansion?! Ha!

Bonnie has HAD a storyline before, the Maggie/Mickey/Bonnie triangle. Did you forget that?

I'd get rid of Bonnie a million times over if it gets us Kristen back! ANYTHING that gets us closer to having Kristen back...

Exactly.

Yeah, and it was played, what... once a month? Maybe twice?

LOL, forever and too much, too long. I almost didn't watch Days and hate Mickey now. Julie was the only one with common sense. Bonnie is a disgrace to the female race. I guess she only has male fans who don't need to have any way to identify with her.

i love her to but the show kan really do without. I ammad sexxy Tek is leaving. Where is the diversity. With all these depatures I know they kan afford Eileen and Joe. Come on now.

Days of Our Lives — Judi Evans fired!

Budget cuts continue to wreck more havoc in Salem than Stefano DiMera! Despite a big storyline involving Victor and Bonnie (they were to wed in the New Year in hilarious marriage of convenience that would turn into a romance), the Global/NBC sudser is cutting its only comic relief and letting Emmy winner Judi Evans go as the quirky Bonnie. Also departing Salem is Renee Jones’s (Lexie) co-star Rhassan Orange (Tek), who will help facilitate Jones’s departure later this month.

I would've loved to see this too. However, if it happened, I wouldn't want them to fall in love. I don't know if I could but Victor falling for her but a marriage for convenience or something like that sure. It would give Bonnie a purpose and really give the show balance. I don't see it as being the same as the Mickey story. JER wrote that and it was never played and, when it was, Mickey was written very out of character. Victor is in character right now and Hogan has done wonders for Bonnie so it would've been good.

I do understand Judi needs to go and I will miss her. I hope she returns as Adrienne one day.

One thins this tells me is Hogan had plans for Bonnie and Lexie and the cuts have forced him to alter them. That is probably why his first two months were slow and now we are finally getting amazing stuff since now he has things in order for the most part, or, until another change happens which I hope it doesn't.

u know, hogan thought he was the [!@#$%^&*] giving all these interviews and previews. The one thing he clearly said is that he wanted fans to trust the show. Well how kan we when he is already chaingin what he said. I am still fuming for Lexie being fired. I blame Corday in some of this. He dosnt know how to manage. Corday should have told RIELLY no way fat boy, dont add all these characters.

IF cutting Bonnie gets us Kristen back, it will be well worth it. However, a Victor/Bonnie story would have been great! If I remember correctly, HS hinted at this back in one of his interviews a few months ago so it does appear that it was one of his stories. So I'm very curious about why this storyline was dropped.

I can see Bonnie being let go in order to maybe maybe bring back....a certain Red Head. that would fit with Victor nicely and mess with Kate and Sami. and the Dimeras

Well, I'm not upset. Bonnie was a waste of a character. I've always liked Judi Evans, but she was not meant for this role. Hopefully she'll land on another soap who'll appreciate her talents.

I would have liked to see this story play out. It would have been true to Bonnie's character, and it would have been a good battle of street smarts vs. intellectual cunning. Bonnie has always been like an older Nicole anyway, so why not? At least we would have had two talented actors sharing screen time together.

JER botched Bonnie's introduction very badly and now I've grown fond of her. Not only that, Judi was the only actress I could stand to see Farah with, it seemed Farah stepped up her acting in scenes with her. DAYS needs a light-hearted comedic character to shake things up. Bonnie was certainly more entertaining than Willow. The show should have booted Annie Burgstrede over Judi.

As for Kristen, I really don't care if she shows up. At least not right now. If ED does come on, it should be in the spring of 2007. We've got a lot of characters on the canvas right now. Hopefully Mimi and Willow will be permanetly gone by then, it should be a great time to bring Eileen back.

Praise be. If Hogan was planning that dreadful Victor/Bonnie wed story, then he is truly not imaginative. Thankfully it fell apart. Mickey and Bonnie were horrendous. It would be one hundred times worse with Victor who is no moron and hasn't lost his mind yet. Judi was wasted as Bonnie imho.

I totally agree.

I find "funny" stories to be anything but.
