Now L&L couldn't get one day for themselves? I think the "mob drama" was on more than the wedding. Guza must have lost his mind. I know I won't be looking for a ratings spike.

P.S. Everytime I think Y&R is getting bad, another show gets worse and makes me thank my lucky stars that Y&R is around.

I am not surprised by today's show. I had very low expectations for today - having high expectations just leads to more disappointment.

The Luke and Laura stuff was really good. I wish that Laura were staying b/c she's definitely made the show a lot more interesting. It's gotten me back to watching GH for the time-being at least.

The rest, though, was the same old junk. Why is Sonny even at the wedding, let alone front-and-center? And Maxie was just disgusting today.

Honestly, some of you are complaining too much. It would have been nice to have the entire episode dedicated to L&L, but the mob drama did not dominate the show today, nor was it front and center.

I'm sorry but how much worse can it get for LnL fans that Guza used FASCINATION for a mob montage????!! After 25 years, that is the only thing that was left and Guza snatched that too!

I liked it...the wedding very much. I think AG is on his way to another Emmy, I have a new respect for him as of today and OMG!! Genie Francis blew my socks away, she is so pretty!!!

I know the writers have a hard on for MobCentral but couldn't they cut us some slack for ONE DAY!?!

What's depressing is that the blown up car probably cost more than the wedding.

Ok I have some rants and raves....

RAVES:

-First, the music was AMAZING. Perfect music for the mood.

-I loved the set decoraction - especially at the end with the carriage and waterfalls.

-I loved the red theme and most of the dresses (I actually liked what Carly was wearing - the headband makes it work IMO).

-Tracy was hilarious.

RANTS:

-Why did we only see Robert Scorpio, and the Quartermaines (Edward, Alan, Monica, Skye) for only a second?

-MAXIE. I thought she looked HORRIBLE in that ugly skanky dress...and why would the writers think it'd be ok for her to catch Laura's bouquet? And then the nerve of her to get into the family picture? She shouldn't have been on today.

-Sonny - that name explains it all.

Most important rant:

I hate how I had to watch Laura go in and out of reality and forget things that have happened. I hate that the only reason they brought Laura back is bc it is L&L's 25th Anniversary and this is a perfect stunt for GH to get viewers. Sure, they have promoted this to hell and it might have brought back old-time viewers...but WHAT viewers are going to be happy to know that when they tuned in today - they find out Luke is married to someone else - he's lying to Laura about her condition - and that she's going back to her insane catatonic state anyday now? That's not a happy ending and it's ALL A FARCE! I'd be pissed if I took time out to come back to a show I haven't seen in years just to be played by this joke of a STUNT.

I was so happy and got so excited about Laura's return - and I've enjoyed the performances and how happy Genie is making Laura seem - but I'm sick watching this knowing that she's going back to being the way she was...and today we saw signs of that and it just makes me sad watching it.

The wedding in and of itself was amazing though - I loved the entire look - and if I knew that the end-result of all this would be different - then it would have been perfect for me. Unfortunately it wasn't

The L&L wedding was beautiful, would've been beautiful if Sonny and Maxie had snuck off, committed a pact of murder/suicide and just died, but you can rarely get anything you WANT from GH.

Genie Francis is stunning IMO. I don't get the "overweight" comments on some forums. She looks amazing, she looks healthy and happy.

Laura and Luke's wedding was AMAZING. However, why the hell was JaSpam/Ric crap right in the middle of it, ruining it? Makes NO sense. TPTB need to get over their obsession w/ Sam, she is no good.

I'm shocked at the negative response that the wedding got!!

I thought it was great! It featured most of the cast and Tracy was just hilarious!! Yeah, the mob stuff kinda sucked, but I really liked the montage at the end.

One thing that I did NOT like was that Helena got about two minutes of screen time when yesterday they made such a big deal about her coming to the wedding . *sigh* Will my favorite character EVER get the screen time that she deserves?

Was Helena actually there, or did Laura imagine the whole thing?

BTW, my tape cut out after Luke's speech by the cake. What happened next? It cut back in right when Jason saved Sam from the car bomb, and ended with Luke and Laura dancing. I just missed about 15 minutes..the reception, I guess.

IDA. I thought this was one of the best episodes in a while. Kept me entertained from beginning to end

I just watched it again on Soapnet. I thought it was well done...bittersweet I mean here we are watching the most amazing couple in soap history getting married again and its really so sad because we know in a matter of what? days? She will be gone. As much as I would love for Genie Francis to stay on GH. Maybe its better this way, maybe someday when they get rid of the idiots they got running this show they will get someone in who can make this show what it once was, one of the best on daytime.
