Wow, Toups, I'm the only one you corrected about this so I certainly didn't know it wasn't true from all the other comments where people complained. How was Peck fired then? I'd like to know the location and manner, please. So I can !@#$%^&*]. (Obviously).

I find it really disappointing actually.

And the fact that you think it's funny makes me feel more disappointed and uncomfortable. And it also shows maturity levels.

I did not make anything in this thread personal.

Neither did anyone else. But for you to even say that, means you're thinking about this personally.

And as for maturity levels, because I find your rants funny, that makes me immature? I think it's immature that you're talking about how some of the other "Bad" actors on DAYS should've been fired before Christie and Austin. Who are you to say that they are "bad?" Judi Evans can run miles around Christie Clark and certainly Austin Peck. That's why she is still on the cast. TPTB sees something interesting in James Scott. That's why he is still on the cast. Brody Hutzler's Patrick may be getting some actual characteristics and that's why he is still on the cast.

Drew, look at almost all of your replies to me. They've been personal.

I think Ponz, JSF, RionPassions, Mulder, UKBoi, Shawn, daysfan, SteveFrame, and I have made our points. I hope all of these casting decisions pay off for DAYS in the end. But I can't see how it will. The stories will have to be phenomenal. A+ caliber.

Either cut out the subtle personal comments or I'll close the thread..... If you feel as if you've been personally attacked, I'm sure the person is sorry. Just rememeber that discusses can get heated at times.

Nothing that I've replied to was supposed to be personal. If you took it that way, well I'm not going to apologize for it because I did nothing wrong. It's just the way you took it. Like Ryan said, discussions on here can get heated. And if you can't take the heat... ;)

don't know if I should start a new thread, but since there was a mention of stefeno in this thread and weather he is coming back, well...

Drew, read your posts to me. That is all. You can continue making what you think are witty comments to me, but I am ignoring them from here on out. So have fun.

LOL, I'm not reading my posts to you like we're in third grade and a teacher is making us talk out our differences. The point is you took things personal, which you shouldn't have and that's why we're having this current discussion. Drop the personal stuff and get back to discussing soaps! That's all I'm going to say about that.

I wonder what they could've thought of this time to end Sami's wedding.

The truth is out, but they don't believe it. AHHHH!

I don't think Stefano is officially returning. It's probably an article about Joe being able to return and is just awaiting the official welcome.

Even with a respected writer coming on, that probably won't happen. Thanks to Higley, Langan, and the last half of JER, DAYS has been driven into the ground. It will be years before the show really recovers. However, I'm willing to stick around for it. I've seen DAYS during the good times, and I've seen DAYS when it was utter poop. While it may be complete agony to you right now, it's interesting to see what some new blood will do with the show. Where I'm coming from, it's very disheartening to see people tuning out because of Peck and Clark leaving. Especially when Peck was totally trashed during his first stint on the show. I don't think Peck is worth all this outrage though. I'm sorry, but that's how I feel. I don't hate Austin and Carrie, but they are not the end-all and be-all of the show.

It's not so much the actors mentioned that are "bad", it's the characters. I've said it before on here... I've always loved Judi Evans as an actress, back to her older days on GL, AW and DAYS. I can't stand this character and no amount of tweaking will make me like it. Brody's a decent actor given the right role, but Patrick's just been written so badly (is he bad? is he good?) that the character's useless. And don't get me started on what Reilly did to him with Bo and Hope, which is probably the reason why he's so hated by people on this and other boards.

I won't say Hogan's the second coming or anything... maybe DAYS fans who also watch ATWT can chime in on what they thought of him... but JMHO, he'll be a great writer for this show IF Corday can refrain from putting in his two cents and IF NBC can refrain from interfering.

That said, I didn't think this thread would go past 20 pages. It's as entertaining, if not more so, than the actual show itself at times.

I wasn't talk to you. I was talking Chanel.

Bree, I've been with the show through good times and utter poop, as well. And I don't think the show is awful now. I think it is consistently good. But I also don't think it's good enough to withstand ten cast cuttings if they keep going about cutting characters that have large fanbases - is all I was trying to say.

    • Anyway... Kristen should have a prison lesbian story arc. And then come out and become obsessed with Marlena so we can move her on from the Brady nonsense. Is that secret room still in the DiMera mansion?
    • Oh, wow... where can I find this interview?
    • I'm really liking Izaiah and Eva so far. And why can't I help but feel that something might happen to make Jessica stay in Fairmont Crest permanently?
    • So Pam didn't create her? I thought she had the whole of 87-88. I'll look around, thanks for the point in the right direction.

date: Tuesday, November 18, 2025 | Jamey Giddens, Danielle Paige | Steven Williford Samantha, accept the fact you were in the wrong and do not deserve your digital devices. Do not like it? Go upstairs. Read a book. Do some knitting. Bradley and Martin's "we get it" to Tyrell was hilarious and absolutely a parent's thing to do. Loving a bit of history of both the Duprees (via Eva) and the Hawthrones (via Izaiah). So cute. Poor June. I am sure she did not purposefully mean to mess up; we have all been there working in customer service. Shake it off and keep on keeping on! Not twice a week for Vernon's cobbler order... Sharon must be using that as payment for their meetings. I appreciate that Ted still cares about the Duprees despite the end of his marriage to Nicole. Not Dana using Peaches' crisis as a way of taking Ted's attention away from a co-worker. Girl, do not be so obvious. Bradley is a man after my own heart with a simply divine chocolate milkshake. That is the way to go. Dana really needs to dial it back. Money will not buy her everything she wants and she will realise it soon enough. And I doubt Shanice is scared off by her idle threats, either. "With all due respect, Ms Thomas, this isn't a shopping mall." Oh, Dr Wilkes just owned Dana's arrogant ass. I love it. Wigs and personas? Okay now, Shanice ate with that read. I like that June assured Bradley that she will not replace him or Martin in the twins' lives. And that blood does not make a parent. Words never rang more true. Jessica reading Samantha was amazing. Dana would want to involve Ted. Her obsession is crossing beyond dangerous boundaries. Not Dana catching Vernon leaving Sharon's room at the country club. That is not good. Not good at all! Notes: Ugh. Not another breakdown from writer2. This week was going so well. Thankfully, Paige is an outstanding scriptwriter (one of this soap's best), and her words today are excellent. The food at Orphey Gene's does look bomb, so I do not blame any of the characters for uptalking it. I would eat there daily if I could. And gain hundreds of pounds, too. David Lami Friebe (Izaiah) continues to make me sick watching him, but he is nice to listen to. I still really like having June as the central person hub at Orphey Gene's. That familiar face you see when you walk in and have scenes. Dana wanting a second opinion means we could have an incoming doctor, right...?

    • I am sure "no one cares" and it's not a big deal to some people, but this thread is full of certain posters calling out women's ages, their viability to have children at like 35, and their nail polish, but we celebrate everything Chandler Massey does and applaud any male shirtless scenes.  And then posters walk back being like it's just a joke and weren't serious lol.
    • I'm so glad she's still on the show. Seems like she may have dropped a hint about the real source of conflict between her and Dee, too.
